Tweetsite Railroad - August, 2010
Enjoyed a full day at Tweetsie Railroad in Blowing Rock where we even got to ride in the engine. Lots of other stuff to do in the park, but wanted to share this train ride. Visit: www.tweetsie.com!

The fact that this railway took the time and effort to bring that beloved childrens book character that has been a part of thousands, if not millions of children's childhoods, including myself, to life is incredible. God bless them.
It has been a long while since I saw this video as a kid. Time has flown by so long. Oh the nostalgia.
2:39 The Little Engine That Could
this reminds me of the day out with thomas events that some railways do
i imagine having to hear the little engine dummy repeat "i thought i could" for more than two minutes would drive people mad guess thats why i never hear of any "Little Engine that Could" events on heritage railroads, everyone's probably just doing Day Out with Thomas instead
The Little Engine That Could events aren't even a thing anymore. GSMR owns the replica, but it's now painted green and has been stripped of all branding tied to The Little Engine That Could.
This is Excellent, and I Love Trains! :-D
Why is there an Amtrak train in the museum?
I seen the little engine that could at the gsmr in its green color form when I rode the tuckasegee river excursion last year
Very nice retrospective. A new minigolf course in Buford GA is planning to theme each of their holes with forgotten amusement parks and this is one of the park's that will have a hole in its honor.
Stop saying I thought I could it's getting annoying!!!!!!!!!!!
Shut up they made it Like that for little children stupid!
@@cyclone7080 We know, but it's still pretty annoying.
You are a DOWNER!!
