Приєднався 22 жов 2021
Deindustrialization and the Politics of Our Time (DePOT) is a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) of Canada-funded partnership project consisting of 33 partner organizations and 24 co-applicants and collaborators from six countries in Western Europe (Italy, France, Germany and the United Kingdom) and North America (Canada, United states). The partnership examines the historical roots and lived experience of deindustrialization as well as the political responses to it. The overall goal is to understand deindustrialization in transnational and comparative perspective, its causes, the responses to it, its effects, and its legacies.

I was looking for a policy that Australia wrote in the 1970s when they decided to deindustralize Australia outsource our manufacturing, and import our goods.
I feel that you are picking individual industries, towns, climate change, and of course gender instead of looking at the various policies, international agreements, and legislation. I feel that you have totally missed the point.
You need to look at the overall framework that prompted and legitimised deindustrialization in Australia. . Why did our political and industrial masters allow the wholesale destruction of domestic industry and services? . How did our industrial leaders manage to transfer and outsource our domestic manufacturing and services to third world nations in order to reduce costs , increase profit, and minimise tax? . This is the true history of deindustralization. After setting up this overall framework, we could then examine individual industries, towns, and of course gender and climate change.
