Thank you - on my Mac with Firefox 61 it still maxes out at 1080p - I think it's a limitation of Firefox for Mac.

This is my first drone so I can't compare it to anything else, sorry! I don't think it has any "no fly zones" built in unlike the DJI drones, so you could probably fly anywhere. It would be a bad idea to fly near an airport of course...

Phantom 3 Pro, going to be picking up a Anafi this weekend...maybe.

well I have the parrot bebop 2 and in my opinion the bebop is way more stable then this ANAFI but its not in 4k so kinda evened out there

P4P, P3P, P3A, P3S, Breeze, Q500 G, Q500 4K, Typhoon, 3DR Solo, Inspire 1 RAW, Mavic Pro, Spark, Karma, Beebop 2, Probably missed one somewhere in there. Yes the Anafi had no NFZ's but is such cheap plastic you will destroy it if you are a novice. Get something stronger like a Breeze (on sale everywhere for $170) or a Spark. Folding arms are weak, plain and simple. See my post above about my first test flight of my Anafi, now known as my broken POS and I have hundreds of hours flying RC.

Because it was my first flight ever with a drone I was careful not to fly it too far away! Parrot's specifications say it has a max range of 2.5 miles or 4km - which seems like a crazy distance to me... I don't plan to have it very far away from me. The control and reception of video was rock solid on my test flight, but I don't think I flew it more than 500 metres away....

Hey thanks a lot...yea don't really see a reason to fly it 2.5 miles away..I saw someone else go 1.25 miles without losing the feed..that's good enough for me.. Is there any lag on the video screen when your panning? I head there is a slight lag which isn't a deal breaker but good to know..it can affect capturing some more advanced shots.

Beyond visual line of sight is ILLEGAL in ALL western countries so who gives a ratz arse how far a drone can fly? If you want range go fixed wing and you can fly for kilometers illegally.

Good luck with your first flight! Make sure you have a good-quality USB cable to connect your phone to the controller. Also, if you use an iPhone you will need to get the beta version of the Freeflight 6 app - instructions are on Parrot's website - the final version is not yet on the App Store. When I got the phone and controller and drone connected to each other, the software needed to download and install new firmware for both the controller and the drone so look out for that.

Chris Mann Photography Thanks for the tips! I did indeed run into having to sit around and wait for downloads to complete. I guess it was for the best because it was sweltering outside in the middle of the afternoon. I’m surprised the drone released without the final app being ready and with no accessories available for purchase yet. I was hoping for an extra battery but I’m sure that’s all coming very soon. All in all I think it made for a very smooth and easy to figure out first drone experience. Have fun with yours!

I just got mine today and took it out for a battery’s worth of flight time. This isn’t my first drone. I also have a DJI Mavic Air and Spark and the only suggested information I will give to the new pilot is make sure everything’s fully charged, read the manual and take your time getting to know the feel of the joysticks.

if I am using a bebop 2 will I need to get the beta version?
