Hello I went to a clinic a couple months ago so no more live but now I am struggling with these grey spots on my head I used my lice lime and I Brock them open and that jell stuff cams out and I found o really strange bug was on my comb can you tell me is this part of the lice???? i’ve had lice on and off for a year now. i used a prescription lice treatment from my doctor, but my head is still itchy and i have a rash on the back of my neck. i had my mom check my hair multiple times and we have seen empty nits, but no live lice. any advice?? is it possible these are just eggs from my previous infestation??

I've used every single one of those remedies, and listerine is the only one that works! I literally had it for over 2 years, and was almost ready to cut off over 3 feet of thick strawberry blonde hair! I discovered listerine, and was completely lice-free in only 2 treatments!!! It doesn't matter what treatment you use, you have to comb no matter what, and dip the comb in boiling water after every swipe! But you never get every single bug or egg! It still comes back with nix, rid, oils, you name it! But listerine kills them all!!!

Ivermectin made from paste at feed store. Mix 1 part to 2to 3 part conditioner. Leave on 15 min, rinse. Shampoo 1/2 to 1 day later. Look up Sklice. Kills lice and eggs. Can also take ivermectin orally to help internally.

These so called professionals are going to say whatever so you buy their junk at high prices. We use the real mayonnaise treatment and rinsed with vinegar then combed. We only did it 1x and the lice was gone. You don't have to do it repeatedly. At most 1 more time in 7 days. We only kept plastic over it for a couple hours. Made sure no air got in. Then rinsed with white vinegar. A bear to comb thru but it worked every time. By that I want to add We have a large family with kids of all ages. So now we are in generational stages. We literally spent thousands one summer in the mid 90s bcuz my 3 little girls were n a home daycare and while we were constantly treating all our heads, buying sprays to hose down furniture and laundering constantly, the originator of the lice was doing nothing so the girls kept getting it over and over. It was horrible. It was expensive. My sister found the mayonnaise "recipe" and wow! Safer, much cheaper, and it worked! Nix and the other one...can't think of the name....were useless. All we were doing was repeatedly pouring chemicals on our hair and the lice were laughing. Once I started dying my hair I never got it again. Home treatments do work. How do you think they got rid of it before all these so called professionals came to be? And it doesn't have to be gasoline! There are much safer methods.

Because I think you have to pick them all out after using coconut oil because she said it’s 80 % affective if you listen. I know it’s hard and it’s gunna take a lot of time but it’s gotta be done and using blow dryer is helpful because it’s again can’t stand the heat so they die.

Is it possible to find one single nit (goldenish) and no lice? I have combed through my daughter's hair 3 times and only the 1st time I found something questionable that looks like a nit. I loaded her hair with conditioner and parted it thoroughly and combed through every section, up and down, side to side, etc. Her cousin recently had a lice issue but was cleared by a lice removal lady. Her parents took her back and they found one single live lice but no nits.
