I just bought a near mint one off Ebay coming from 🇯🇵. I bought it because my parents got me one when they where in Switzerland and I had brought it to a watch store in Southern Ca to have some custom work done but the store sold my watch without my permission. Now that my parents are deceased i wanted another one as a sentimental memory of what they did for me.

I have a Capri Badged sewing machine which has frame cast by Soryu sewing machine company (J-C8 cast into frame) and the rest of machine was made by Toyota (J-A19 stamped into frame). It is a Model 878TW. Straight and Zig zag and allows use of fashion cams.

I just got given one of these today... so pretty! *edit* just cleaned it up (wasn’t that dirty and underneath was immaculate), everything seems in perfect working order, all the (24 blue, 1 white) cams, pedal in great order, feet included, extra plate, extn table, bobbins, manual, etc... only thing missing was a cover? But no biggie, I like to make clear vinyl ones to show off my beauties! I’m stoked :) I used to have those same curtains in my old house too… ohhhhh, how I hated them soooo much, haha

Great how you can move it about on a trolley to public events. I had thought of doing similar with our 1926 Australian Beale. I am investigating the use of mini solenoid valves to fit in line and the use of a midi system and a small vacuum motor but have yet to find a supplier with enough solenoids I have seen how to install them by the bloke who repaired all our cloth pneumatics but is a big job One tiny mention and that is everything works on vacuum. Thoroughly enjoying ours

Hi, I assume you mean only 25 of these newly made versions sold as I have 2 I have converted from 2-rail to 3-rail and know a few more who have done the same in the HRCA? With mine I have replaced the insulated wheels with non insulated ones to give a genuine 3-rail loco.
