I loved Alan Davis back in the day. He made Excalibur such a fantastic book to look at and read. IMO he deserved so much more praise and attention than I remembered him getting

I think this 'in the car right after' format is refreshing. It lends a less formal 'off the cuff' feel to the review.

That's definitely acrylic and not oils, he really was using everything in those painting, car spray, pencils, inks, acrylic paint.

This book leaves a lot to be desired..

3:43 I always tell people the same thing --- it's fine to use a model for your layout and pencil stage, but you still have to finish that the same way you would any other structural drawing. If you don't it stands out from the rest too much.

Yea I thought it was a decent enough movie. I think some of the jump scares were kind cheap and forced, but otherwise ok.

Cool. The colours are really vivid and jump out at you. I'll have to admit I'm not used to the lack of dialogue.

But how was the wood gain?

I thought it was very well done. The scenery, costumes, and atmosphere were great. Dracula/Orlock isn’t supposed to be charming and attractive. He’s ancient, putrescent evil.
