I can confirm I does NOT work. I just tried it and the car was in the chop shop but when you go to the mission to try and do it again you can’t. It just says acquired.

It works just wait when you hear the sound of the garage door opening that's when you close the app (for ps5)

no, there is no limit on sales, I can always sell the cars for full price
This limit only applies to personal sold vehicles at LS Customs
