I never had issues with using RBE2s for thermal models as long as Rigid=lagrange is on and the CTE is set. The hand calc does the rest.

Yes. In the same time, supersonic is already available in Zona, so Siemens will be also covering supersonic domain.
Under the hood, how does Zona calculate the aerodynamic terms [Am], [Ac], [Ak] terms for supersonic flow?

No, this is using the Doublet Lattice Method which limits to the subsonic domain. For supersonic domain, you would need ZAERO from Zona Technology, recently acquired by Siemens.
