Well it’s a Neumann to start which seems like paying more for the brand name cereal when the generic is the exact same…. But once you own a neumann you’ll hear the difference. These are popular for a reason! Neumann has a way to get their high end sounding so good in a way that I’ve not found from any other company. Most of their mics have a crisp and super clear high end with some sort of special magic going on but there’s also a warmth there so it never feels harsh. Some of their mics do better with the warmth than others. The 102 does good with both in my opinion with both of those areas. Maybe one day I’ll do a comparison with the 102 and other popular mics so you can hear

Could be the same but I highly doubt it. My guess is that they just repeat the same serial number over and over but you never know! If it’s fake, send that junk back!

They definitely do! They’re everywhere on the used market. Either buy at the high price by a trusted site or buy way cheaper used and use this video to make sure it’s all good! 💪🏽

I completely agree with you! I don't mind buying from different venues as long as I am protected as a buyer. I can always get my money back. Wastes a little bit of time if it's fake but it does allow me to see what new things the scammers are trying to do. Keeps me up to date on their scheming ways haha

@@groke7275 Oh I see now. It's dependent on the velocity. So it doesn't slide when you hit the keys softer but as you hit them harder there's a certain point where it automatically slides into the note for you.
