How to Build LLM Agent Swarms Using SWARMS PLAYGROUND's Low-Code UI
I’ve been working closely with the team at Swarms (aka The Galactic Swarms Corporation) since October 2024 to bring their innovative open-source system designs to life. Swarms is a cutting-edge startup headquartered in Palo Alto, with a strong presence in Miami, FL, where I first connected with the team.
In this video, I’ll show you how to easily build swarms of LLM agents using their low-code platform, SWARMS PLAYGROUND. I think this design is a game-changer, and I’m excited to share what I've learned.
Check out Swarms at swarms.world

    Nice video! It is truly a vast history of computing encapsulated in only about 80 years. When I first started working in development, some 20 years ago (as of the present date), the first task I was given was maintenance and testing on COBOL and JCL programs. It was interesting to learn, but I couldn't run to the distributed world fast enough! Check out the article "How AI will transform mainframe" showing how new AI is transforming the usage of old mainframes. I tried to share the article but my comment kept getting deleted.

    On a totally unrelated note, I have been following your father's artwork for a little while now and I must say it is very impressive and powerful! I always appreciate when people use elements from their backgrounds as inspiration. I especially like his use of mythological and fantastic imagery and the use of folklore he uses to tell visual stories. My father visited Haiti back in '72/'73 and he absolutely loved it! Amazing culture, warm-hearted people, cuisine and music. He spent around a week or so there. Port-au-Prince was a very nice city back then and many tourists came from abroad. Unfortunately, there was such a tumultuous period in Haiti, especially during the end of the Duvalier regime and during the ensuing coup, during which time many left and went abroad. Some years ago, my parents went on a cruise which stopped for a little while in Haiti at a resort. They enjoyed it, but it is not the same as getting out and meeting the locals. There were safety issues and my parents are older now, so they weren't keen on doing that. I don't suppose you've visited Haiti before or are planning to? I am sure it would be quite an experience. Interested in getting your thoughts.

      Yes. My dad is an amazing artist. I've visited Haiti probably 15-20 times in my life. I haven't been for 4-5 years now as it's very violent.

    This is a very useful capability Thaddeus; appreciate the video! Summarizing information is a great way to be productive. Have you had a chance to extend support to other file types ? I can see a lot of use cases for other types such as doc, xls, ppt, and many others. After all, they are all documents containing data.

      @@cmd_labsI see! That is a lot of progress. I am trying to get back into shape myself. No, we never met in person. I live in Canada (GTA) and I believe you live in Miami, Florida. I've only been to Miami once with my family many years ago and enjoyed it very much. I came across your IT and travel videos and enjoy watching this subject matter, since I love learning new things. Keep making this type of content. I'm in the IT field myself. I also came to know you record music and I've checked out some of your older stuff from ~2011 and on. A very different type of content, to say the least. I'm a musician too, but never got around to posting anything on UA-cam (maybe one day I will post music without video).

      1) Which one? Right now? I wanted to make a music video with my roommate. The reverse effect was inspired by Coldplay/The Pharcyde 2) Depends on the project. Most of the time it's me working through my insecurities or expressing raw inspiration 3) I think the genre that most succinctly defines the music I make would be "Alternative" 4) Which one? Beautiful video. I was following the official method through the gcp yt vid and the cloud run gh action but it was convoluted and didn't talk about how to set the permissions. I tried getting my gha ction authenticated through their recommended federated identity method but it didn't work. Your service account key method is much simpler to configure. I found your vid and after 3 hours, got my deployment working. Thank you sir! Btw at the very end, "--platform" is a nonexistent argument and the gh action throws an error about it.

      @@cmd_labs 1 - timestamp is 2:52 I believe 2 - I cant link the repo because of spam filter, the file path in that repo is how-to-deploy-a-dockerized-fastapi-to-google-cloud-run/.github/workflows /cicd.yaml, line 47. I'm not sure if the gcloud cli version is relevant as it runs in a github action runner, which should download the latest version? line 31 in the above file uses "'google-github-actions/setup-gcloud@v2'".

    Thank you so much! Will this setup incur in any cost in GC for a hobby project?

    • @cmd_labs
      @cmd_labs 21 день тому

      It depends on the details on your hobby project. Like A) how many services make up your hobby project... B) How much it gets used C) How many other "paid" services your Cloud Run services rely on etc. I find Cloud Run in general to be extremely cheap for simple projects (ie: 1 or 2 services that make up the application) If you are asking for a rough estimate of the Cloud Run costs for a simple application made up of 1-2 services I'd say you'll be paying between $1 to $20 per month BUT! It depends on the details of your application to know the exact amount. Could be lower or higher. Let me know how it goes The nice thing about Cloud run services is that they shut themselves down after not being used for a few minutes so they are very cost effective

    Can a vpn circumvent this

    • @cmd_labs
      @cmd_labs 23 дні тому

      I'm not an expert in VPN's but my understanding of them is that they change what your IP address looks like to the websites and APIs you visit on the internet... All the technique in this video is doing is measuring how similar each login is to your previous ones... So if your VPN always switches your IP address to the same one then it would get caught by this technique. But if you VPN is always switching up your IP this technique might catch it The IP address is 1 component that is being tracked for the similarity measurement... So if your other login characteristics (like device type & time of login) are the same the switching up the IP address might not affect the "similarity score" that much

    Could you use namespaces to weigh web search results for providing answers to LLM queries? When you originally asked about the most recent GPTuesdays that you missed, could it have used a namespace you previously generated, to search the web to try to find out about the most recent GPTuesday?

    • @cmd_labs
      @cmd_labs 24 дні тому

      Yes that would work too... An LLM agent can be given the capability to connect to a search engine like Google via an API Like this one for example: serpapi.com/ ChatGPT I think connects to Bing when answering many questions, etc. That could/would work but there still might be info that you don't want on the web or want more control over... That's where a vector db comes in ie: Think a company's internal documents etc.

      I'm guessing your mean translating the paths in the URL ie: my-website.com/news for English visitors & my-website.com/nouvelles for French visitors? What react framework are you using? Next.js? If I understand you question correctly, then the way for accomplishing this depends on the framework or combination of technologies you are using : )
