    The 2025 Coleman 17B model is now built by Keystone RV. Huge upgrade on the quality. Now comes w/a furnace instead of the cheap fireplace for heat, tankless on-demand hot water, outdoor light and got rid of that cheap door holder that always breaks. No more cheap bottoms on the drawers that always fall out as they upgraded to real wood bottoms. Quality control is upgraded and price staying the same. Coming up Camper Show 2025 Specials will have them for $11,995.

    I have one that is similar to that and the way to get rid of the dust is buy a bottle of white vinager and put the heat on is going to help a lot with the rust but at the same time you will need to do a couple of cycles cause every time is going to take rust of it, i already try with mine and works very well but you need at least 3 to 4 cycles with a new white vinager

      @@BULLETENVY Now another thing is that can change the look on the paint bexause of the heat but is the most quick way to get rid of the rust and if the paint is something you don't care then you can try this and if the actual paint get dully or weird after the cycles and get rid of the rust you can repaint it

      @RamonNunezRey I could see that. I didn't use the heat feature because for some reason every time I do on this particular machine I get an error code. I just cleaned it up really well and then I actually polished the barrel to a mirror finish and it looks amazing. Is there a coded the rest of the gun white and it had a purple frame already.

    Hello and good video! When these things say they are "Solar Ready" I know what you mean by it not having anything really for the solar setup. I just purchased a 2025 Latern 17R and it is "solar ready" From what I gather, it simply has the connection ports in pre installed areas but that is it. The roof should have a port to accept up to two solar panels I've read and that port you moved is used if you want to install a briefcase type solar panel that you can move around the outside of the RV to keep it in sun. I see a spot in the front outer storage of the camper that says it is pre wired for an inverter. I am going to look into it more but apparently everything should be "pre wired" and all I am to do is install the missing pieces. Charge controller, inverter and panels. All of my outlets in the RV are just like yours. They say "Inverter outlets" on them yet they do not work unless I am plugged into shore power on the side of the RV. Same with the microwave and AC unit. I want to find a way to wire it up so I can use everything all the time whether I am plugged in or not. The only quick solution I have found is to hook up a Solar Generator like the Anker system that plugs into the main power on the side of the RV and acts like a gas generator would. This might be the route I go but Id really like to create my own custom kit if I can. I want at least 800 watts of solar as I know the AC unit alone can draw up to 1500 watts I was reading. If I cant match the charge to the usage, I'd drain the batteries swiftly.

    • @BULLETENVY
      @BULLETENVY 14 днів тому

      Well thank you for the support and watching the video. Glad you liked it. So I totally get what you're saying about it not being solar ready but yours may have things that even mine doesn't. I don't have anything pre-wired or anything that says inverter spot or a spot on the roof for wires to run through. None of that. Just a connection to plug in an SAE connection that wasn't even connected to the battery. I think you can handle installing all the solar though. The easiest way that I found to put an inverter in there was just to run wires from the battery to an inverter that mounts inside and use those plugs. But your way with the anchor generator might be even simpler and you'll have access to everything where I would not.

    Does your fridge run off battery? If so, does your truck charge the camper battery while driving? Would be ideal to load the fridge before a trip and stuff stay cool while you are traveling.

    • @BULLETENVY
      @BULLETENVY 16 днів тому

      @@BULLETENVY awesome. Yeah we looked at a 2024 17b at camping world and it had the freezer portion in the top but was curious about it running while traveling to keep things cool and run off the 7 pin. Did you have to run additional power to your 7 pin at all for the aux pin or anything? I also have a red 04 f150. Nice truck!

    • @BULLETENVY
      @BULLETENVY 16 днів тому

      @f150g33k nice dude. The truck hauls it like a dream. I know the price is attractive but I would definitely make sure you look at other models as well. I haven't done a video on this yet but this camper did catch on fire they are refusing to cover it under warranty and I also want you to be aware that while this camper is Affordable and it's pretty decent for the money there are a bunch of things on it made very cheaply. They put these things together so fast the craftsmanship is very poor. Just make sure you're at minimum handy to fix anything that may go wrong but if it's what you can afford I wouldn't say it's a horrible option just want my people watching this video to be aware of certain things. I'm still in the midst of trying to get the thing repaired so depending on how it works out I will be putting a video up on it

      @@BULLETENVY OH man, that sucks. Sorry that happened man. How bad is the fire damage? Thanks for the info. We definitely like the layout and the price is attractive. I know the Coleman 17b is being manufactured for the 2025 model by Keystone. Wonder if that would be any better. They swap out the electric heater for a propane though and add an on demand hot water heater.

    • @BULLETENVY
      @BULLETENVY 16 днів тому

      @f150g33k it's whatever I just talked to them and I think we finally figured out why it happened. I had to upgrade a bus bar but didn't include an inline fuse because I didn't know what they had before was a thermal fuse. I thought it was just a regular bus bar but that one was on me. As far as the camper itself either option I think would be good for you just make sure you get good financing because the rates are kind of steep right now and the bank that Camping World sent us with was one of the worst Banks I've ever used and the right was horrible. I ended up refinancing with my own personal bank which raised the payments a little bit but it gave me a much better rate so also something to think about. But most importantly just think about what fun this can bring you and your family and if you can swing it go for it.

    I am having issues figuring out what they are doing. Here, I only see the 350 with the control on the stalks. Then we have the 345 and 375 without. The 380 isn't on the Husqvarna Canada website at all and dealers here don't have it. Does anybody know if the 375 has the same speed and transmissions as the 380?

    • @BULLETENVY
      @BULLETENVY 25 днів тому

      Well you definitely came to the right video. The reason you don't see that anymore is because they stopped making it after a bunch of these issues had been reported so the only thing they make now I do believe is the 350 and the 375. The 375 does not have any controls on the handles and has only manual controls on the control panel to your right. Just like a regular lawn mower and then it has an hour meter and a low fuel gauge. Everything else is the same as far as drive train goes

    An update on my exite380. I am now 4 weeks without a mower. They replaced the solenoid, didn’t fix it, replaced the Voltron, didn’t fix it, replaced the mini-dim, didn’t fix it. Now Husqvarna thinks that maybe the Mini-dim was defective. Last time the dealer tried to get a mini- dim they said it was on back order until August 8th. The one that they tried was sent from R&D. So i could be 5-6 weeks without my $7,000 mower. the dealer has spoke with the Husqvarna rep and told her that I want someone to call me and that I want them to replace my unit with a 375. Supposedly, they are working on my request, but haven’t committed to replacing the unit. It has been almost a week since the dealer’s request and several follow up phone calls to the Husqvarna rep, and still no one from Husqvarna has reached out to me. It is impossible to get through to a live person. In my opinion, Husqvarna is demonstrating the worst customer service i have ever experienced. I have worked for Construction Equipment Manufactures for over 35 years, and If one of our customers requests a call from the manufacturer, I make the call immediately. Husqvarna has obviously taken the cheap route and done away with live customer service personnel. Had I known that they were so lax in responding to a customer request, I would have bought a different brand. I am glad that they took care of you. If things change on my end, I will let you know.

      aaaahhh man. that stinks. im sorry to hear that. yea i hate that they dont have a number you can call and reach someone. that kind of stuff really grinds my gears. im happy i was so well taken care of but i feel bad that you are not being addressed. honestly the squeeky wheel gets the grease. id go in there once or twice a week and ask to be put on the phone with a rep. as far as i know they are getting rid of the 380s all together and just only making the 375s so your request for that seems valid. its what they did for me. maybe talk more with the dealer. i feel your pain dude. keep me updated.

    Thank you for actually showing the light in total (or damn near) darkness and its spot and flood settings...knowing how far that little tree way off in the back to the left is would be suuuper helpful in really gauging how far out it reaches for us viewers, but overall great review. I'll pick one up. Seems like it's much brighter than the 300 lumen version and this version has made me very happy, so I'm sure this 1000 lumen upgrade will be wild

      Well you're very welcome and I appreciate the support. I think that tree was about 150 to 200 ft away give or take a few. And honestly dude I've had a lot of flashlights in my day and a lot of headlamps and this is still my favorite one to this day. The only thing I could really complain about is the strap because mine broke but I was able to rig it back up and I've had these lights for a long time and they still charge just fine and are just as bright as the day I got it and I've had them under cars and I've had them in the rain and I've had them in mud and they just keep going. 35 bucks well spent. We have 2. You gotta get one. Sometimes they go on sale for 30 bucks so be looking out for one.

    With the right spacer, I actually really like that stock. The forward grip also pulls the gun in tight to your shoulder and makes low ready a lot more comfortable. Tip: get the Gen2 grip even if you get the Gen1 stock. They look very close, but the Gen2 has some ergonomics improvements.

    • @BULLETENVY
      @BULLETENVY Місяць тому

      Yeah me too. I really love this stock. Not a fan of the bolt that holds it to the gun. Very prone to stripping if you don't get it perfectly lined up and kind of difficult to do. Well that's good to hear about the Gen 2 because I went over in my head like a hundred times trying to figure out which one I wanted but I eventually went with the Gen 1 just for aesthetic purposes. If I end up getting a second are I may try it or try it on the AK.

    You know, I had heard about there being issues with the electronics on these, and even had one dealer tell me don't buy it. I really liked it though, and once I get my mind stuck on something, there's not much changing it! I went with a different dealer, and I actually got the smaller one, the 350. The one issue had when I first got it was the battery was just a little low, 11.6v, and I couldn't get it started. At first I was freaking out thinking i bought this machine against all the bad things I heard and sure enough mine was toast too...however, once I figured out it was the battery, I was able to get it started, and so far, no issues...that said, its been super hot and dry here and I went through a spell where I couldn't mow, so I've only mowed 3 times in the last couple months. I'll keep you posted if anything changes, but I just wanted to post a (so far) positive experience...all in all, I agree this is a great mower. I do have a very steep yard, probably between 10-15 degrees on most of it, which is one reason why I hesitated when deciding to go with a zero turn at all, but standard riding mowers just can't power up the hill, especially since im a big guy. The one thing I really wish I could change is the seat backrest..it's definitely a comfortable seat, but I wish I could lean the seat forward..when going up hill, I feel like im falling backwards and struggle 😢 to hold myself up and push the controls forward. If I could lean the seat forward a little bit it would really make a difference.

    • @BULLETENVY
      @BULLETENVY Місяць тому

      Well congratulations on it robert. the reason the battery was low is because they sit on the showroom floor without being cranked or charged for a while so. I also know what it's like just set your mind on something and then ya have to have it. Im the same way. Glad it's been a positive experience for you so far. I get that about the seat. You can scoot it forwards and backwards but not lean in any direction so that would be nice to have but regardless just please be careful. I usually don't get scared of machines at all but this one can be very dangerous so just make sure you take your time and learn the mower the best you can. Have fun too.

    Never ever buy this if you go camping for more then two days! No magnetic base and only 20h on the lowest setting????? rechargable flashlights are a scam. i had a 5 dollar aluminium flashlight and i never changed the batteries and it lasted a year of daily use and it was way brighter then the even the medium setting on this. 74 euros for nothing and the packaging is so stupid i cant return it. There is no good flash light brands just buy some duracel branded flashlight it is 100000x better then this trash.

      i appreciate your perspective on this. i personally disagree but only to a point. my last Duracell flashlight was not bright at all and seemed dated. i love the rechargeable lights because they can be charged anywhere that has usb and any power bank and power banks stay charged up moreso than batteries in my experience. however i do have to agree with you on the price. its to steep but it has the wide beam i like and has been the best light ive had for 2ish years now. no issues. sorry your disappointed with it. maybe you can gift it to someone?

      @BULLETENVY I've had several riders and they all had a problem here or there. that's a decision you have to make. I do know they aren't cheap on price I was gonna grab a weed trimmer but the commercial version of it was around $400 I had to rethink.

    • @BULLETENVY
      @BULLETENVY 3 місяці тому

      I mean I know every mower is going to have a problem eventually but after two mows for one that cost $7,400 bucks is not acceptable to me. I can fix certain issues but the problem with these is the electrical every time. If you watch the previous video the entire control panel was completely fried and so I got a new one and now this one's not charging the battery and at times it won't even start even when it has a charge almost like some sort of sensor is preventing it. These are just the major issues. There are other issues like if you're not on 100% flat ground it just spins and tears your yard to pieces no matter how easy or slow you go. Also it's almost a thousand pounds so if you get it stuck you literally have to winch it out which I've had to do three times. I really wanted this to be my dream mower but it's just not turning out to be so.
