His role is to get multiple defenders focused on him and open up space for the rest of the offense to succeed, which is working. The chiefs care more about winning than padding personal stats, which is why they win.

It's not just about that 3p shot. He got killed on the PnR by both Luka and Kyrie. Not to mention the Jazz defense was a top defense when Luka killed them a few years back(before he got traded). The excuse then was he didn't have perimeter defenders. Now on the wolves he had perimeter defenders, and he still got killed. Well his team got killed. He's a great defender all time in the regular season. In the play-offs he's exploitable. Don't get me wrong a lot of centers are exploitable in the PnR but at least they bring something else offensively. And if they don't they're not getting payed as much as him and are not talked about as this all time defender.
