Sir you've restored my faith in hot air gun for smd resoldering. This is one of the cleanest jobs I've seen.

I dab solder braids but never push them along to clean, easy to rip a trace doing that if its an older electronic

That wasn't hot air only.... Literally see the bridges after the chip has gone on then a shortcut to the final result and the bridges are magically gone. Deffo got touched up with an iron.

When reworking the PCB with the hot air station, I saw at least 3 solder bridges across pins. How did you remove them? Did you use a soldering iron? In that case, this video is incomplete.

¡Muchas gracias por el vídeo! 👍🏼 He aprendido un montón. Ayer pasé todo el día para acceder a la CPU y hacer el puente. No funciona con un Celeron. La pantalla se queda en negro. La pila de la BIOS estaba bien porque aproveché para cambiarla. Hoy he vuelto a llegar a la CPU y he retirado el puente, y ya funciona. Un saludo!

Good video but I would've preferred to see the complete job including how you sorted out the multiple bridges instead of jumping to the end.

This method has a risk that the copper plate of the PCB may fall off.

You never done it with hot air only , you had solder bridge near enough at the end of the video then you cut the video there and showed us the finish product where there’s no bridges and you got rid of them using a iron

What is that grey sludge called. I'd like to test it out.. I never worked with anything else than regular led free solder and flux.

How do to overheat or damage the DRAM? DRAM Spec indicate storage tempreture no more then 150 celsius!
