Very sloppy colorguard presentation. My goodness. Running from here to there. Out of synch. Drops. Several band members out of step. Changing sets by runnning to the new one. DC once had a great parade band. What is this?

Ridiculous exercise. No one knows what this music is. Weak transitions. Phasing and out of step. Individual players and sections sticking out. That's the short list.

These are mini field shows that belong on fields. It's not parade marching.

This is called 'parade marching.' A lost artform in Minnesota. There needs to be a governing body that overseas parades and band festivals. No stoppage. No miniature fieldshows. Straight ahead marching with powerful, recognizable iconic songs... not cute broadway themes and pop songs. Allow for a slow step during a song... but no stoppage. Litchfield used to be a powerhouse band... nationally.

Banner carriers are walking. Not marching. And out of step. Colorguard running around to get flags and not together. Band is very out of tune and out of balance. Weak transitions. Drumline is dominating the band. No dynamics whatsoever. Can't hear the horns hardly at all. Drumline walks down the street near the end as though the performance is over. A great parade band presents itself with unity and great marching at all times. Not one second of sloppiness.

Lots of kids out of step. Running around to change sets. Sloppy flag work. Decent sound. The actual band is secondary to the props and the colorguard. Transitions are sloppy and weak. Cheesy song arrangements.

A lot of kids are out of step and out of phase. That never used to happen with the once great Litchfield Band. These mini fieldshows on the street are awful.

I'd have to watch this about 30 times to count all of the marching mistakes. The American Flag is presented improperly. The colorguard is not together. The sound is pep bandish. And it's a very poorly designed show. What has happened to the great St. Anthony/Patriot Band? What has happened to Minnesota parade marching? St. Anthony was once 'thee' powerhouse parade band in the state. But this isn't parade marching. It's mini fieldshows with huge pauses and gaps. There's no flow or momentum to the parade.

Field shows on the street. Not parade marching. Out of step during transitions. Not a fan of this type of marching at all. I miss the old Litchfield powerhouse.

Cute. It's a dance show... not marching. Mini field shows. Not a parade. There's no flow. No powerful approach. Too many large gaps. Lots of standing around. Decent sound... but individuals stick out because of their location. Why don't these bands join the big boys on the field in Southern Minnesota, Northern Iowa, Eastern South Dakota, and northern Nebraska? That's where the power bands are now.

The amount of stoppage is unbearable. It's not a parade. These are mini fieldshows on the street. Fieldshows should stay on the field. You can hear individuals and sections sticking out... out of tune... and with a harsh sound. The general effect is very average. There's no momentum to the parade. The banner carriers are out of step. The over-all presentation and approach is sloppy. Waconia used to be one of the power bands in Minnesota parade marching. Rifle routine is not together.

Is there a drum key shortage? It feels like an epidemic.

This isn't parade marching. It's mini-fieldshows. Individual players and sections are exposed and out of tune. Minnesota used to have great parade bands. That is gone. Fieldshows belong on the field.

What happened to parade marching? These mini fieldshows are not exciting or powerful.

Should put this show on a field... not on the street. It's creative... but not really very well done. Where did the great Litchfield Band go?

Not a fan of fieldshows on the street. They belong on the field. One of the thrilling parts of parade marching is the approach. Miss that. Minnesota used to be one of the powerhouse parade marching states. That is gone. It's more about the props and colorguard than the entire band. The band is just accompaniment. And the different individual players and sections are over-exposed so that we don't get the big musical effect.

Bring back straight ahead parade marching. These mini fieldshows are average at best. If you wanna do fieldshows... then do full ones on a football field.
