only person that i could get this right with. Finally have a scale drawing. In model, it was in inches, so changed it to mm. And in plot set manager in paper space, it wasnt set to 1:1 but custom

I think the best way is to mark your unit as meter in page setup, not "mm", that's how autocad will know that you're drawing is in meter, and your paper is A4. so when you do layout, you can scale it down the viewport to something like 1/100, to make 1m of line look like 1cm of line on paper. Choosing unit in page setup properties as mm, while your unit is m, and calling scale of 10:1 (1 unit = 0.1 drawing unit) as 1:100 2 is confusing in my opinion.
