Winning Historic Festival 42 Race 2 - Lime Rock Park - 1972 Chevron B21 Onboard
Weird ending to a race. After a long safety car, I was in P4. Tower gave me a board that said 1 lap to go. Caught P1, P2, and P3 a few corners later who appeared to be on a cool down. Since I saw the 1 to go, I passed them and got the double checkered flag. They were apparently shown the checkered the lap prior as well. Either way, had a lot of fun! This was only my second race in the Chevron. Thank you to the GMT team and the Team Delane fans around the world for your support. We have lots to learn and improve!

Too bad about the broken accelerator pedal. You did a great job of driving with that handicap. Just driving on the street with a broken pedal is a challenge. Hope you get it firmly anchored to the floor. Your in car coverage is awesome. As a long time 02 driver, I feel like I’m in the car with you. The steering inputs and the way the car responds are exactly what I experience in spirited driving.

We should have a few Alfa's and 911's in Sonoma this weekend! And we get a Volvo every once in awhile!
Now I can see why you race a box sedan. You wouldn’t fit in a sleek sports car. Great drive, nice to see a BMW win. The fender flares and air dam look good. Can you tell any performance improvements due to the new bits?
Nope fitting in most other cars is a challenge! I can feel way more grip on cornering and braking but in general I’m driving the car way way harder than I ever did last season. You could probably get through every video I posted from last year and barely see me push like I had the confidence to do here.
Was this Henry Schmitt’s old B sedan?! I feel like I recognize it aside from the fender flares. Glad to see it’s being enjoyed properly. Great driving!

It would be nice to know some basic specs on your car. Engine: cam, compression ratio, carburetors, headers Transmission: 4 speed or 5 dogleg Differential ratio Steering: standard or close ratio Suspension: springs and shocks, swaybars Brakes: rear drums or discs, Volvo setup on front or others Your car sounds great and handles excellent.
Thank you for the message, sadly I am completely useless on tech specs - the team at Racecraft in Woodinville, WA built the car and know every nut and bolt in the thing. It's a completely class legal B-Sedan car and similar to the other 2002s running at the front of the grid. It's a 5 dogleg and I am pretty sure we had the 4.11 diff in there and have another one for longer tracks. Rear drums. Car is 10/10 and so fun to drive.

Nice run! The car sounds awesome and looks like its a blast to drive. Kept trying to get into a friend's 2002 a couple of years ago for testing but something always came up (mechanical/timing) that prevented it. Someday...
