I have a head cannon that Obsidian is like a vampire but is somehow able to live without eating blood(or maybe dying in light) due to some modification since she can no longer eat blood due to those modifications she constantly is eating/drinking pomegranate because they are the closes thing to blood she can get(and also that pomegranate means death)

There's an possible actual reasons why Elio and the Hunters are going for the Stellarons, and because they are to change fate. Even before the beginning of the main story, Stellarons were mentioned, used and even formed as important factor, negative or postive, towards an entire civilitation. Hell, almost every piece of lore goes back to the Stellaron, and still have strong presence through each world's issue, faction and background. The Stellarons posses an unique Imaginary element that allows to make the impossible to possible, thus breaking any form of pretermined rule by another power and bring it forth to "reality." Like someone wishing on a falling star, and there's numerous proofs about this. 1) Alicia Rand the first Guardian saved Belebog from the Legion by using the Stellaron, however, thus dooming the planet to eternal winter. 2) The Ambrosial Arbor grow back earlier, because the power of a Stellaron was used to bring it back to it's original form. 3) Penacony's Stellaron took the form of a theatre and used to shape the world of dreams as the user see wanted. 4) Even the MC's Stellaron got out of control because the user's wish to was to defeat the beast. There's probably more events that are related to the Stellaron, but if someone like Elio, an Emanator of Finality that knows every possibilty of the future, maybe this "Cancer of worlds" is able to bring an "variable" to the equation.

I thought the tavern was specifically in Epsilon? I'm pretty sure the place in Penacony was just the equivalent of a night club why where Sparko/Sample left those items for safe keeping (I think the proprietor is a Fool) I love these deep dives keep it up!

Curious to know, what was the point of creating a false empress? It just seems like extra work. The knights already seemed pretty devoted when it came to defending their home, and maybe could have done so without the idea of an Empress.

Considering the timeline of events, it’s worth mentioning that Glamoth probably fell somewhat recently, rather than how some people assumed Swarm = Swarm Disaster. Kafka was there to pick Firefly up after Glamoth’s destruction, and I think it’s safe to say Kafka’s not 1000 amber eras old either

When you think about it the knights and the 86 have a lot in common. Both treated as nothing but tools to fight an insurmountable enemy. Expected to live and die to ensure victory only to die achieving mostly nothing
