GLC 63 2020 - Lowering Suspension Module (MWM)
Sick video. Is the handling and stiffness improved when you lower via the module? I am used to having standard shocks and coilovers that are lowered which provide significant increase in handling but I've never used air ride suspension for performance. I am getting ready to get a glc43 amg myself I really like the look of this suv in black lowered.
@@Dnasty1 thanks brother, I used MWM back then but now there is much better softwares out there you can use, including links. It’s a nice SUV brother, but I’m thinking about moving on with mine. You will enjoy it, super fun SUV and get tons of attention.
I just bought those spacers. But the company suggested I do 15mm front and 20mm rear. Any thoughts on that?
It all depends on what you want, I wanted a square look instead of a staggered look. They can recommend whatever they want 🤷🏽♂️ you choose what you like and make sure you don’t lower your GLC because it’s going to kill your fenders liner with 20mm in the back
@@Elvincars I have a 2016 GLE AMG 63s. Lowered -38mm front and rear with 20mm spacers in rear and 15mm spacers in front. Im considering doing 20mm front as I like a flush look. No issues with the rear but maybe its because I have a GLE
@@BryonStoutI’m not sure but GLE have much more space than GLCs! I’m not running spacers anymore since I got wheels a little after I put the spacers. But spacers make a hell of a difference

Jesus... this is not a Toyota buddy! 1. You have to clean the hub, before you install spacers. Brake cleaner + metalbrush! 2. You screw and strengthen the bolts crosswise, not 1,2,3,4,5 - always the one on the opposite... so 1,3,5,2,4 , why? Because you can damage your brake if you don't! 3. You need a special Torque (NM)... AMG mostly is 150NM. Not just any. It is in every's car manual how much NM you need. Americans... smh. haha Greetings from a german, who worked for Mercedes-Benz.
It’s good to know! I removed them within a few weeks because it was rubbing since it was lowered. But next time I will for sure look into that. Btw I’m from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

@@uthixo it’s a little controversial but sure and I have new wheels on the car right now so I left the car lowered with the specs of wheels.
Can the sale module be used with multiple cars?
Unfortunately, I can’t not. Before you get it, you need to provide them your VIN number so they can lock it to your car. I’m aware you can send it back so they can program it again for another car, for a cheaper price. But it can’t be used in multiple cars

Race Mode/ESP off, the Reve's should go to 5k before launch, if they don't, press the brake to hold, pull both paddles 3x before you press down on the accelerator, you should get slite wheel spin on the line and that is what 3.8 second will feel like 💪

I always go with the star pattern on all my cars man, not sure if the GLC has a specific pattern! I hope this helps.

What’s going man! It’s a little bit more bumpy of course but I’m used to it and to be honest it’s something everyone need to expect when you go lower. In my opinion I love it, it rides better than stock height and of course it looks way much better. I hope this helps you out.
@@Elvincars I know you can lower 17mm without discomfort or additional tire wear (throwing the camber /caster out of spec) according to AMG and audi Engineers (this is after me reading a loooong time about the subject)
@@hg1496 that’s absolutely true, once you lower the car it’s recommended to get new control arms so you can adjust the camber. I personally haven’t done it yet. I have ride the car like that for about 3k miles and I haven’t seen any abnormal wear on my tires. But, I have heard a lot of people saying that they bought new tires and in less than 8k miles they were wore out. But for me I haven’t had any issues so far. I also think there’s a difference between the 2019 and 2020 up models

Yes bro! It comes with the AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension. One of the best things MB could bring to the market with this SUVs in my opinion. How can you go lower, you can also go up!

What brand of spacers? I have a 2020 GLC 300 that I want to start modding, but I am saving up for some really nice wheels. I have AMG wheels on it but they are factory fitment and want it stance to be a bit more aggressive.
They are BONOSS, my friend recommended it to me and so far I love it! They come with bolts as well! And same here but since I don’t want to spend some crazy amount of money on wheels right now I went ahead and got the spacers for now. You won’t be disappointed! Just a heads up, if you lowered your GLC more than 30mm it will rub just a bit. But you won’t even notice it. Hope this helps!

What MM is the front and rear lowered to?
30mm front and rear, but you have two set ups when you buy the “LSM”. I got for my self 30 and 20, but I’m always using 30mm. You can go lower than that if you would like but that’s your choice.
