"I’m tied in at the base of pitch 20 ready for 35 meters of battle. I close my eyes, take a few deep breaths, and try to stifle the ever-present pain in my toes. It’s been a long two months of trying this route. Over 2,000 feet of granite sweeps away to the jungle below as I ready myself for the final try on the last day of the trip." - Hayden Jamieson Bronwyn Hodgins and Hayden Jamieson, along...
The Horn of Upernavik - A 1000m first ascent in Greenland
Переглядів 8 тис.Рік тому
In 2013 I was invited on an expedition to Greenland to attempt the 1000m unclimbed east face of the Horn of Upernavik. At the time I'd never climbed more than a few pitches in a row, it was a wild adventure that changed the course of my life, slingshotting me into a life of climbing. Ten years later, I finally got around to sorting through the footage from that trip!
El Gavilán - Bronwyn Hodgins resurrecting a forgotten wall in Mexico
Переглядів 83 тис.Рік тому
FULL FILM!!! Rising out of the arid Mexican Desert lies a 900ft ship's prow of elegant limestone, sporting a 9-pitch 5.13 established in the 90s by Jeff Jackson. A cutting-edge Big Wall free climb at the time, this climb shut down hard men for years. Shrouded in mysticism, the bolts rusted and the holds collected dust, until a couple of gals from Canada decided to give it a try. Directors: Bron...

Alan Carne Climbs Sacred Cow
Переглядів 75 тис.7 років тому
In April 2015 I had the pleasure of climbing with Alan Carne in Indian Creek, Utah. He was trying this unbelievable looking long splitter crack called Sacred Cow, not only that but he was laybacking the headwall! I got inspired to document this incredible climb and unique man. Moonlight Buttress - Finger cracks and luxury big walling
Переглядів 59 тис.7 років тому
Bron and I climbing Moonlight Buttress 5.12d/7c in Zion, April 2015. The splitter finger cracks were a new style for both of us and were a steep learning curve! We pre-stashed our portaledge and then spent two days on the wall, with an awesome bivy above pitch 7. We both free climbed every pitch, an especially amazing achievement for Bron who'd only been climbing for only two and a half years!

Climbing The Nose on El Capitan with Bronwyn in May 2014. This was our first big wall climb and we had to figure a lot out on the way. We spent 4 days and 3 nights up there, hopefully it comes across how much fun we had up there! Music: Amadou & Mariam - Sabali Fort Lean - High Definition
Lovely video
Someone explain to me why Greenland is a part of Denmark and not a province of mainland Canada again? Y'all are prolly better off joining the former no? Jmho.
Absolutely love your films. Always so good
Awesome
Fantastic! A HUGE adventure! How you manage to haul all that gear I just don’t get, but it’s inspiring! ❤
Not too shabby. Lovely vibe.
this is incredible!!!
You guys are putting out some of the best home-made adventure footy out there. Love watching all the videos and stories. Cheers from Moab! Come get some crisp cracks and good weather in the desert sometime! Plenty of FA's still to be had too ;)
I’ve just seen the first 120 seconds of this 30 minute film, and I’m stocked! Keep up with the adventures, amazing film work and I’m sure some great stories for you all!
Wow, the quality of the documentary is incredible, stunning visuals that truly capture the essence of your journey. It's incredibly inspiring, you guys are the most badass people on the planet. You are real role models for me, your journey makes me want to head out on an adventure of my own !
The best
I think must be doing this wrong. You're having way too much fun.

Fantastic video and incredible accomplishment . Well done Bronwyn, Jacob! 😄
Whoa that was epic! Excellent job!
You guys are awesome! Keep it up ❤
That was awesome! It sounds like the approach was the crux :) A 900m 5.11+ FA is nuts though. You have to get crazy lucky to find a line like that
Totally, once in a lifetime find! :)
Incredible trip and documentary. Well done to all of you and to the team putting this film together. Truly inspiring.
WOW , another epic adventure. Thank you for sharing.
You just know when there is Bron Jacob and Zack in the same documentary is gonna be awesome. No but seriously this was yet again a outstanding documentary. keep up the good work cheers!!!!!!!!
Inspiring, as always!
Great movie, beautiful setting, decent climbing, touching conclusion. It is clear it was made by the people with rare passion. Keep on doing the good job. Greetings from Tatra Mountains, Poland/Slovakia.
This was amazing
4:38 - The frog climb better than me 😂 Im dreaming of climbig in the Yosemit
Every part of this was so beautiful, y'all. Between the comradery I could feel between you 4, the beauty of the mountains and seas and river around you, there were several parts that made me tear up. I'm a new climber and have been watching climbing youtube for inspiration. While I get a little sad and envious watching others have these types of experiences, it simultaneously inspires me to continue building my skills and get out there myself. I think multi-pitch alpine climbing is officially one of my life goals now. Really loved the bit at the end with climbing with the kids. What a beautiful ending!
Yooooooooo! Y’all that was so awesome!! So stoked to see some incredible northern landscapes. Glad you made a video, that ruled! Also the flamingo rafting was wild 😂💯🙌
Why do all the gnarly pro climber chicks have the highest pitch voices 😂😂
What's the song @19:19?
Far by the hunts for those wanting to know
Great film! I just came back from hiking Baffin Island in September 2024. It's so amazing to watch your film with having context of that amazing landscape I was privileged to experience. I read in a log book on Summit Lake about the Asgard Project and although I cannot recall who wrote it, it made me wonder if it was your group! I love that you guys took the kids from Pangnirtung out climbing. It's a great way to give back.
That was food for my soul. What a great film!
This was my favorite film at the Banff film fest when I first saw it. Such an awesome film. One of my favorite from the festival to this day👌 These mountains are beautiful and I kept a note to visit some day. That day might finally come this year. Thanks for sharing the beauty of this remote place.
Hi, im going to follow you, i live in Monterrey NL Mx, we were on LA POPA twice a few months . incredible your videos here and many more places !!
Wow that was awesome. So great that you took the kids climbing.
Great film! Well put together, wonderful adventure, a story for a lifetime.
Hope to do something similar one day with my group.
Zzzzz
So awesome
Wholesome lot! Nice - but sketchy - adventure. You were rather lucky coming down the "whites" with those boats...
This is honestly so cool. Like this is the absolute dream of dreams of dreams. Such awesome dedication and camaraderie. So glad that they were able to pull this off.
The Holy Quran❗..👍👍👍🎧Search❔❔ 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Beautiful!!
Epic trip. But your disclaimer at the end... Climbing and exploring is rooted in human nature not colonialism. Dont be so arrogant to think only colonising western nations ever climbed and explored. Colonialism might have used some climbing and exploring , but it also used walking, eating, breathing, riding horses, sailing ships etc, so is that all also rooted in colonialism? Stop being so apologetic about what people in the past that you never knew, nor had any influence on did.
What a wild adventure
An amazing trip and an emotional watch. Thanks for sharing
I climbed the Uummannaq mountain back in 1984 .. no gear, 2 water containers and 9 "guldbar" chocolate bars (1190 meters) .. but that what from the backside (easier climb) the rocks in that area are very crunchy with few pure granite surfaces 🙂 .. I also climbed Mt. Blanc later, a complete different story :)
hi, someone know the title of the music at the end?
Thank You !! 🙂
so much fun, thanks for sharing
you certainly know how to have fun!!
