If only it were that easy, mate! 😂 I'm a Finance guy, but I'm tired of this field and I want to shift to the tech industry but for quite some time now, I've been seeing that even tech industry but its mad difficult. Its only if you're extremely dedicated and worked very hard that then FAANG companies will see you and hire you regardless of the background. Everywhere else, degree matters. :(

Also you sound Australian and I have an exchange kid coming from australia saying how hard it is even for cs graduates to get entry level positions there, you must be extremely talented to be able to outcompete these students...and at 16, thats $38 an hour, isnt it the case that australians have an hourly salary cap depending on your age group? thats how yall system work there no?
