This is a great video. I have a Model Y but I still have a Mustang too. This goes to show that there’s a car for everyone. What might not be your thing could def be someone else’s and vice versa. But also, you are not the car you drive as well so we shouldn’t automatically judge people on what they drive, which is why I love this video. . Otherwise, prolly one of the best Tesla car reviews I’ve seen. Good stuff.
I watched the test drive and did you even mention the acceleration??? Even the LR has some decent pep, and then get the Performance and it's a whole new ballgame.
"where the engine at" 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
I like how the Model X will open the driver door for me when I walk up to it. It will also close the door when I put my foot on the brake pedal or when I walk away from the vehicle. I never have to touch the door if I don't want to. I mainly like Tesla's because of the tech they have. I still own a gas vehicle, but I rarely drive it after getting used to my Tesla.
Why the offer to take back the Jeep? I thought it was about being reimbursed for the tires or the tire contract #Warranty?
They falsified the whole finance agreement as well. But when you breach the contract (as they’ve done), they have to give me my money back in exchange for the Jeep. Sometimes you can keep the car, but I guess a judge will decide now.
Whit, boy, have you been through a lot in the last few videos! Keep your head up and keep on trucking. I hope all ends well with Nipsy and his tires. The gems received from the photo shop lady was a blessing. Go forth and prosper in your business.
That’s not even the half 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I pray everything works out for you
Thank you! 🙏🏾
I’m a big fan of Whit 😎
I'll be trading my jeep in for a porsche macan. Those jeeps are junk an wont last long .
Basically the dealership owes you 18” wheels if your purchase contract say 18” wheels. They don’t owe you new tires. I would stick with the 17” wheels. They will eat up bumps better. Most dealership will put 35 psi on normal passenger tires. LT tires are heavy duty would take more air.
Whatever the wheel/rim size is, that’s what the tire size is also. 17” tires won’t fit on 18” rims and vice versa.
16:37 wow you got 67k miles on your original tires. consider yourself lucky . If you bought the jeep brand new look at your purchase contract and vehicle options 24:27 Sometimes dealers will change wheel and tire packages on new vehicles. Your vehicle can take a 17” or 18” wheels. Anything smaller you will probably have issues with rotor/brake clearance. With the 17”/18” wheel you would put a tire size that won’t change the size of the overall diameter. You would look at the ratio of the sidewall height. The nerve of this guy 26:12
This chick is crazy 😂
Who me?! 🤷🏽
stealerships
😂
Dealerships are going belly up and they will find ANY way to make some money off of you.
I see! It’s really sad.
255/70/18 is 32.1" tall and 10" wide and a 285/70/17 is 32.7" tall and 11.2" wide. Most jeep owners wouldn't complain they gave you a wider and taller tire. I'm sure most places assumed you swapped them yourself. With that being said that's a difference of about 2%. Your speedometer and odometer will be both be off slightly. That's a legitimate complaint if you're unhappy and want to get some compensation. I don't think that had anything to do with your tire wear.
And yeah, the Sahara comes with 18" wheels. I believe the dealer swapped them and robbed you. They should have been honest with their customers.
I believe what you believe. 🤦🏽
Those are 50K mile tires. I think in your other video you stated you had 67K miles on them? If so they are beyond wore out. That spare time looked sad. It looked like a racing slick. LOL.
Yes, I had 67k miles on them. But they looked like that at 50k miles.
drama Every tire brand can be different pressure so the door plate only refers you to a ballpark loading. A person needs to look at the tire pressure on the tire. Your tires didn't wear any more or less because the pressure being different by a few pounds. 17 inch wheels there are more tires to pick from. I always go look at the tire and then order them. You got 65000 miles out of those tires they shouldn't owe you tires they just need to order the 17 inch with the right load and profile.
The experts already said they were over inflated. What’s on the manufacturer sticker is NOT “ballpark”. It’s stated for a reason… because that’s why it’s supposed to be.
Milestar Patagonia are a way better tire than the ko2, and they're a much better deal.
Why would he pay for the mistake of another dealership? She actually thought that another dealership should eat the cost of another dealership? Do you understand that these are different business entities? The warranty is a different issue.
What video did you watch?! 🤔
@@Whit_The_Drummer The video where you thought that a DIFFERENT store was going to honor the price that you were mistakenly quoted elsewhere. That video! Do you understand what a franchise is? These are not Apple Stores. They are independently owned and run. You pay to be a Jeep Dealership and it has nothing to do with any other Jeep Dealership nor your warranty. That is something you should take up with the corporate headquarters. That video!
@@drstevej2527 it wasn’t a different store. Same franchise, different location. But that was the least of my concern.
Yet you asserted that it was a different location in the video and went on to claim that they should have honored the original quote. Do you watch these things before posting them? Watch at the 2:10 mark where you clearly state that the manager/ owner refused to pay for the extra $100 as it’s not a mistake that this store made yet you are somehow surprised. Again do you understand how Dealership/ franchises work? They are separate entities. One is not going to eat the cost of a mistake the other made.
@@drstevej2527 I think you’re confused. But thanks for watching!
Over reacting. Just go buy new wheels and tires. Factory wheels are cheezy as the dealership probably swapped them to make another sale. You never noticed the smaller size until you went to go get to new tires.
You obviously drive a Prius for you to make this statement!
Bike dealership did that on my son’s bike. I got home and realized they swapped out the wheels/tires. Went back to the dealership and called them on it. They ended up taking tires off another bike and gave those to me.
@@asuchemist3371 it’s crazy how they try to get over on ppl.
Vehicles have a couple different wheel sizes you can get. for a car. Often a stock size and an optional larger wheel size. All you have to do is read the TIRE size off the sidewall of the TIREs you have installed on the car and then you know. The tire shop or the dealer is not at fault if you can't tell them what size tires you have.
You don’t make any sense. Like at all.
Autotechnician, not CDJR but Honda, but science doesn't change between brands. Whoever you were talking to about tires doesn't know a thing about tires. Door Jamb tire pressures are COLD INFLATION pressure. It's what is recommended to have the tire pressure at with the tires at ambient/cold temperature. In California, where you are since Coastline, Shaver and Chatsworth are all in the SFV/Los Angeles area, there is nowhere near enough temperature fluctuation where you would need to perform any compensation or adjustment. On the technical science side, the door jamb tire pressures are what the vehicle was set at during it's EPA required testing, which is where they got their reported MPGs. In reality, a 3 PSI difference wouldn't really make too much of an issue for a tire in all actuality, but it does show a sign of complacency and lack of professionalism if they cannot take the time to look at the door jamb and adjust the tire pressures to those value. There additionally is not a SINGLE shop in business right now that is digitally recording what pressures they are inflating your tires to. They are just refilling them and stating the pressure, but there is no checks and balances to make sure they are telling the truth other than your TPMS system/checking the tire pressures themselves. If you didn't have a TPMS System that read the exact tire pressures, they could write 'Set tires to 38 PSI' and never even adjusted their pressures, and the customer goes out and keeps driving.
It’s an unfortunate situation all around. This is diabolical.
It sounds like they added upgraded wheels to your build. He even says the contract describes powder coated 17” rims. That’s NOT a downgrade, it was an aesthetic choice. Dealerships do that all the time. You sound like a ton of drama.
I disagree 1000%.
There is nothing wrong with having a 17inch wheel on your Jeep. Many Jeep dealerships will do this because Jeep enthusiasts tend to prefer a 17inch wheel. The dealership did not "steal" your wheels and tires and I will be very shocked if they actually do switch them out. Were the wheels and tires on there now the same ones that were on the vehicle when you test drove it and purchased it? If so than absolutely not a single person or dealership scammed you. If the stock wheel and tire was on there when you looked and purchased it, but was different when you drove away...sure that's pretty fishy. But if this is the exact setup that was on the vehicle when you purchased it, than you got what you purchased. They probably assumed that you knew the wheels and tires were not stock since...well...they're kinda hard to miss. And it's not a "downgrade" to go from an 18inch to a 17inch wheel as long as the load rating is the same. You probably actually got something better than the stock wheel and tire setup....and the guy who only looked at the sticker on the inside of your door instead of what was actually on the vehicle needs to pay more attention. It's very common for Jeep dealerships and buyers to put a 17inch wheel on so for him to just assume that the sticker size is what's actually on the vehicle is pretty funny to me 🤣
What’s wrong with it is that I didn’t ask for it. I wouldn’t have bought it that way. And I think they knew that. That’s why they didn’t inform me of the change or activate the tires/wheels warranty I bought with it.
@@Whit_The_Drummer Honestly it was probably just a mistake that they didn't activate it. It's happened to me before. If this is the setup that was on the vehicle when you test drove and purchased it then yes it is what you asked for. If they changed the wheels and tires after you purchased it but before leaving the dealership, than yes I'd see your point but I don't think that's the case here. I'm not saying dealerships do not scam people because I absolutely think it does happen often, but I don't think that's the case here and I think you should maybe change the title of this video because these accusations are WILD LOL
@@effectivelyjett i call it like I see it. Whether they took them or switched them, they changed them without my CONSENT. CONSENT IS KEY. CONSENT. thanks for watching but I’ll call the video whatever I see fit.

Girl, chill with the lawsuit talk and the "bro" and all that, that should be last resort, and you shouldn't be the one doing it, that's the lawyers job. You seem to be throwing that around too much and I'm sure they hear it everyday kind of like the police do. 3psi isn't going to make that much of a difference, if the tire is wearing more in the middle that's more so over inflation. Air pressure does NOT go by tire size. Ima just stay in GA and avoid California, you folks are nuts. You probably had an upgrade with those wheels and tires where the factory ones were cheap and looked half as rugged. Good luck with it though.
Yea, stay in GA because in CA, unfortunately lawsuits are the only thing some ppl respond to. And I want justice according to the LAW not the STREETS.
It would be in there best interest to not only give you the 5yr tire warranty but eat the 1015 you spent on the new tires
Exactly. But it’s too late now. The damage is done.
they probably took your tires off and put them on a lower trim level as an add on for someone else.
@@AllanPowell who knows? 🤦🏽
@@Whit_The_Drummer it's either that or the place you go for rotations did you dirty. If you have photos of when you bought it, double check to see if the tires look the same.
@AllanPowell yes, photos were taken the day of purchase and the entire week of purchase and the tires have always been 17s. I checked the photos. Not only that, those white tire letters were custom by me, so if there was a switch I for sure would’ve noticed right away.

whats the lemon law there
It varies, depending on which lawyer you ask out here, lol. Most lawyers are classifying this as auto dealer fraud (which is a sub component of lemon law in this state at least). Others see breach of contract, breach of warranty, embezzlement, negligence, negligent hiring, etc)
It's not unusual for steelerships to change wheels and tires. Lots of folks want that custom aggressive look so they will just swap them out. Weather it's an upgrade or down grade isn't necessarily relevant to tire size. That jeep could have come with some crappy steel or chrome 18's on some less aggressive looking tires so they pulled those off and put on a set of powder coated 17's with more aggressive tires which wouldn't be a down grade. You might not like the ones it comes with from the factory.
I hear you, but a NEW car has ALL ORIGINAL parts and seeing as how they also didn’t activate the tires/wheels warranty I paid them for (that I’ve also been paying interest on over the years) is what makes it seem malicious and intentional. Either way, whatever change was made should’ve been communicated to me, instead of falsely advertising one thing and selling another.
@@Whit_The_Drummer Yeh the warranty not activated is off so they should explain that. But without the threats of lawsuit and all the "bro" attitude. If at all possible, you should do these type things in person with the jeep there with you. Record and all that if you like but give them a chance and yeh let them know you are upset and have a lot of questions with the custom wheels installation. Google your make and year model and different trim packages and see what those come with.

First of All a 17 in rim and an 18 in rim are obviously a 1 in difference and won't work even if she was to pay the extra 100 bucks
Yes, this is what was said in the video. lol.
It does work....do some resarch. You can put a 17inch wheel on a Jeep that comes with 18 from the factory. The bolt pattern just has to be the same and preferably the same load rating. It's very normal and VERY common to put a smaller wheel and larger tire on a Jeep.....or any vehicle for that matter but it mostly is done with Jeeps and trucks. My F150 comes with a stock 18 inch wheel but can also come with a 17 or 20 inch wheel from the factory. Again, the bolt pattern just has to be the same as Jeep, Ford, Chevy, etc all have different bolt pattern and lug nut sizes.

your first mistake was wanting to buy a jeep ROFL. they are ugly and total trash.
This is why people don’t trust dealerships… I took my Firebird in diagnostic test run on it.. The dealership told me it would be $110 and made the appointment for me to bring it in the next day.. After they did the diagnostic and gave me the report, he charged me $500.. I asked him why I was quoted $110 for the diagnostic.. He said the person I had talked to missed quoted me.. Don’t trust them because they’re not gonna be honest with you
Thanks for sharing. I’m sorry you had to experience that. And yes, now I don’t trust dealerships either. Every day I find out another way I’ve been scammed by this dealer.
Dealerships are such scammers. I bought my Tesla online and it was the best car purchase experience I ever had by far. I’ll never buy from a dealership again.

@@anthurion1beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
its not a scam - sometimes dealerships put different style alloys wheels on which are different size wheel and tyres, the difference in inches is not a issue when your changing styles, the garage should of checked the tyres size when ordering, 4x4 tyres also wear quickly
I get it. Whenever tires are changed, I’ve seen dealers UPGRADE tires, but I’ve never seen a dealer DOWNGRADE tires without also downgrading the price.
