The song was not written for any particular individual, but it was inspired by someone who I used to work with, who found his old girlfriend on social media and started a relationship with that person again. In their past relationship, they both thought the grass was greener elsewhere and separated, married other people and had children. However, after their marriages failed, they found each other again through social media, rekindled their relationship and fell deeply in love.
