Brands Hatch Indy Jack Sim 1st October 2023 MRO supersport 600
First few laps before the camera stopped recording, unfortunately I crash out of 3rd place with half a lap to go which the camera obviously failed to capture.
This was my first meeting back racing after 12 months off 2 wheels, recovering from a big Ankle/foot injury sustained at the Oliver's mount Gold cup meeting in September 2022.

Last race of the weekend, starting on Pole after winning the previous race on a drying track. I was on a new slightly faster machine at this meeting, trying it for the first time, by this last race I was getting to grips with it, a few mistakes early on in this one and I was still being cautious with the lean angle, the plan was to really get going with it at the last round at Brands Indy in Oc...

Race 2 from Saturday at my second ever visit to the Scarborough circuit. A good result of 11th from19th on the Grid. and into the 1.52's by the end which I was really happy with having a stock 600 engine in the bike. I made lots of progress at this meeting, qualifying for the A races Saturday, and then improving my times enough on the Saturday to move me up to 11th on the grid for Sundays races...

Starting from 20th on the grid after choosing wet weather tyres in the previous, what turned out to be dry race, putting me well down the grid for this last race. Time to get stuck in and work my way back to the front. Air temperature was around 8 degrees C, frosty mornings, hail and snow showers all weekend, so the lap times were a little off from where they could have been.

A challenging race, trying to stick to the narrow drying line, on old worn wet tyres. after a lot of red flags during the day, this race had been cut down to only 6 laps.

Last Thunderbike Extreme race of the weekend at Brands Hatch in July, Enjoying another race trying to make up for a big power disadvantage, on the old R6, battling for the Extreme class win against Andy Saunders on his SDC GSXR750 whilst trying to keep the Ultra boys on there 1000cc machines in sight.

After taking the Thunderbike Sport championship on the Saturday, and the lap record in that class, I had to just get a good finish in this race to wrap up the Thunderbike Extreme championship and I had my sights on the lap record in Extreme of 1.13.506.

After wrapping up the 2021 championship in race 1, the hunt was on to break the lap record in Race 2 and with a clear track whilst leading, I managed a new record on the penultimate lap. (Thunderbike Sport is a class that has a 105hp limit for bikes produced upto and including 2004)

A re started, shortened race after a red flag, a great start to the season, with limited track time and a slipping clutch, I was happy to be only 2 seconds off the class lap record on the 95hp Thunderbike Sport spec Yamaha r6, the rest of the weekend was wet so didn't get a chance to push the times down further.

Cracking riding this, what gearing you running on the zx6r around cadwell to use these gears? very strong motor for a stock600, is it the 636 engine or the 600 engine?
Thanks, gearing was a little short as you can tell down park straight. Might have been15 46. It’s 600 motor ex stock 600 bike 118-120hp on vanguard Motorsports dyno jet.

Just an old GoPro 4, then using race render software to add the speed and circuit map from my vbox lap timer.
