That one chord on piano is quite... interesting.
I like this hymn, but it can be quite hard to sing due to low notes in the chorus and high ones in the verses. Also do not try to sing a capella, as could easily end up in the wrong tune in the chorus.
To God be the glory.
Just lovely! And all 4 verses! My favorite hymn... thank you!
Old #204 - the medieval hootennany hymn. Nice! (-:
Thank you!
Thank you
A simple and yet deeply moving message from your heart that has reached mine five days after our Christmas celebration. The busyness has faded and I am here in silence feeling the power of your words and in your gentle voice. Thanks be to God for so many great blessings.
You're Making me cry Bishop Rob. That was so beautiful. I know Lost Nation becuz a friend was going to have a wedding there..but we talked her into St. Matthews Summer Chapel in Sugar Hill. You're right ! Lost Nation is in the middle of nowhere!! But beautiful. Happy New Year. Karen Ernsberger
Thank you Bishop Rob! A very blessed Christmas to you and yours also. ♥
Thank you Rob! Wonderful message I think we all needed to hear.
Wonderful message on the Word, made flesh! Thank for coming to the North Country!
Thank you, Bishop!!
Forest Green is, IMO, the best melody ever composed.
If you are listening to this, wondering if there is a Jesus - He is real. He is complete, gentle love and He wants to know you. Look for Him and you'll easily find Him
Happy anniversary
So beautiful!!
And to think, Eddy baptized my daughters. :(

Thank you so much for this wonderful uplifting and comforting sermon! It truly blessed my heart!! Merry Christmas!!
So proud of our churches!
Amen. Hallelujah.
Thanks for the update. I’m looking forward to the Agapefest meal!
We will have a vaccine next month unless the criminal politicians block it. You know, the ones that are enemies of the gospel. It is a tragedy that you are giving in to the pressure and fear.
I believe Bishop Rob is sincere (and correct) in wanting to protect church members from the virus and to reduce community spread that could occur through us. Although I’d love to be at church, it is an act of love to abstain from collective worship when it could harm my neighbors. The vaccine, by the way, will only be available to the 50 million most vulnerable people at first. Looks like it’ll be mid-year before most of the population can get vaccinated.
@@christopherpotter114 no, I disagree. Denying communion to a Christian in good standing for any reason is wrong. And there's no evidence this thing transmits when masks are worn, anyway. Just ask the people who tried to burn that church down. I will be looking for an open church for Christmas, and I've told my church council they won't get a dime from me until reopening. I'm not going to bankroll an illegal excommunication. Just incidentally, early Christians met in defiance of the government of their day. That's the real example they set.
@@Fil0girl we as Episcopalians believe in the power of three - scripture, tradition, and reason. We know you have the right to feel as you feel, think as you think, and go as you go. Matthew 7:1 tells us, "Judge ye not, that ye not be judged." Just as you have the right to find in person worship for yourself, so also does our Bishop and many faithful Episcopalians and Christians throughout the world have the right and desire to keep others safe by not gathering during this pandemic. Prayers and blessings for you that you do not get infected as you go about your daily life. Also take note Jesus spoke about money frequently, but never would have used it as a threat.
@@marjoriegerbrachtstagnaro5770 well, "tradition" does not include closing down churches for six months or more. Even during the Spanish Flu, which ran much longer than this has, churches were open at every available opportunity. You see the same thing during the Black Death. Closures were short term, not extended pity parties. And as for "reason," we shouldn't let reason overtake faith. Reason is a guide, but we cannot lose our moorings in the gospel. BTW, in some ways Jesus DID use money as a threat when he overturned the market tables in the Temple.
I don't see a closed caption option here. is it possible to add that? I am hearing impaired. Thank you
Enjoyed
Thank you, Rob. There are people with whom I'm not at peace with either but, I continue to work towards that peace.
Beautifully said, Rob. Thank you! Lucy & John - part of your Amherst groupies.
