In this video we are going to be replacing the fuel actuator and trying to get the mk2 to start up... but will it start up or is it broken??

How much can these cost to buy?????
They cost anywhere between 2.5k to 4k depending on condition and millage.
How many litters it burns on 100km?
Not really sure to be honest suppose it depends on how you ride it
Average fuel consumption is about 38 mpg, and has an 18 litre tank. Hope this helps

@robertsandifer1755 since I've own mine it's been faultless and ran well, but always worth checking the normal stuff like chain, sprocket and tyres, they are great fun to ride and own
What pipes are they mate?. I have the Z1000sx decat with scorpions. Sounds beefy :)

Tornado red does polish up well 🙂 unfortunately on my red mk2 its been buffed through to the primer at some points lol
Thanks 👍, doesnt look to bad when polished needs more coats but getting there, That's a shame it's gone through do u think that was due to a mop burning through?
@MarkSully84 yes, she has had a hard life... bought it for £500 1st time in 06, paint to primer at points back then... sold it 09... found it spares or repairs 2015 for £400... 2.0 8v fitted ,welding etc.. and back on road 2017 😎 180k on shell.. 3rd engine and box.. i love it... my 16v mk2 is pretty mint compared to it though lol

Its great to see you working through the problems and giving a honest view on them. It is hard when trying to match part for part, and as you say can be a bit costly if you get incorrect ones. Great video, sound did go a little in middle. Cant wait for next episode.

I'd wager the metering head has got gummed up due to being sat and you aren't getting the right fuel delivery.
