Do You recommend the Spartan 100 with 1/2 inch diameter for main drain. with tree roots?

Spartan makes good high quality machines for plumbers who clean a few drains a week. If you're a Rooter guy banging out 10 different drains a day from kitchen sinks to bathtubs to 100 ft plus mainlines - I think the Gorlitz line is superior. The GO68HD has 170 ft of 11/16" cable on a single reel - gear drive and all the torque you could ever imagine. Also, I respectfully disagree with the only use reverse when you're stuck instruction.....Sometimes in a tight turn or a series of close turns, going in on forward til you hit the tight spot, stop the machine and reverse it just before you feel the cable start to get crazy - then put it back in forward will often help you get through something weird - or - assist in making a drop. I remember when Spartan held the Patent for that puller and we all had other machines but we all had that Spartan Cable Puller on them, lol

If you're using a 2 or 2 1/2 blade 90% of the time you have absolutely no idea what you're doing. This guy works for spartan????

If the feeder is in reverse to pull the cable back should the machine also be in reverse or leave it in forward?

If it still flushes, it could be ventilation issues. If it doesn’t flush, and you snaked it and nothing is inside the toilet, then your sewer might be clogged.

nice zack, training the green horns wow id hate to turn them loose on thier own. with out experianced hand overlooking. I knew right away that bowl would hit offset flange . A guy recomended me to drop w/c over the bolts without wax first to check rocking and level. never really did it that way but sounds good if floor looks bad or you got CI offset ring. good advice about the damaged cabinets or messy rooms. now a days everyone has a phone, Id take a picture to cover myself
