Suzie, Thank you for presenting these natural treatments for ringworm infection. Can an😢y of these treatments be ingested? I give my cats ginger powder on their canned cat food evertime to prevent vomiting. It works like a charm without adverse effects.

My dog has the loose stools with jelly but no blood. It happens from time to time, but I like to know what's causing it. 3 days ago he had firm poop and now its soft with a lot of jelly and its not like hes acting sick. He just has some moments where it seems he's a tad different in between being his normal hugh energy self.

I have 2 cats, brother and sister. They are 15 years old as of June 6th tis year. They are both very healthy and still playful and active. However, years ago Sherlock had a hematoma of his left ear. Nowt he ear is so thickened and the opening is very small. It's been difficult to get any cleaning solution deep into the ear to get it clean and keep i that way. I clean his ears once a day. I do clean a lot of debris from the folds on the upper part of the ear where it tends to collect but getting inside clean has been impossible, thus the infection never goes away. I love him so much and he lies quietly on his back in my arms while I tend to his ears. The right ear is fine, no problem. He goes into the kitchen after each cleaning and awaits his treat :) He's so sweet. The vet suggested I have the ear removed but I just feel this would be not only too expensive for me on a pension but most of all too traumatic for him at his age. He has never been away from me for more than a couple of days if I go away and a neighbor comes in to care for them. Someone they know and trust as I do. What can I do to get inside this ear to clean it properly and conquer this infection once and for all? The vet gave me steroids to bring down the swelling of his ear but to no avail. His ear is very caulifloured He isn't leaning or losing his balance, it seems it is only itchy sometimes for him but not chronically. He does sleep soundly and eats without any problem. Thanks for your suggestions, they are most welcomed.

I've been bathing cats for years. I put them in a dry sink with a bucket of warm water beside me. I have the shampoo in a flip nozzle bottle that can be opened and shut with one hand. I dilute it with half water. Have your towels ready. I also have a song that's 7 minutes long ready to play. Starting at the head, wet head, ears, cheeks, throat, shoulders and chest with water. Pour shampoo on and lather. This keeps the fleas off the face and out of the ears. Start the music and wet the rest of the cat and add shampoo. You must keep one hand firmly on your cat at all times. The watered down soap is quick to lather and cover the cat. I talk gently, sing and massage my cat all over. When the song is over start rinsing from the head. Sometimes I use a dishpan to speed up the rinsing process. It depends on the cat. Don't forget those feet and between the toes. Once rinsed, I squeeze the water out, put a towel folded in half, one corner at the head, the other at the tail, drop the sides down and scoop the cat up in my arms, holding them snuggly against me. I give them time to rest before I start drying them. After scrubbing them dry-ish, I let that one go and get ready for the next one. I have 13 cats, but only bathe 7. Happy Kitty Bath 😸

Thank you so much. I have a couple of barn cats and two spoiled indoor-outdoor cats that from time to time suffer from ear mites. I love these guys and galls the barn cats hate being inside except to say hello and maybe get a special treat like a taste of fresh trout. 😊
