@@basedSTi unfortunately anything that is cellular is going to have a data plan attached to it. AT&T has to make their money too I suppose 😅. This is the same reason that all GPS trackers have a fee attached. If you don’t want a subscription, I would do a different dash cam. We use the Momento M7 quite a bit as well. In situations where someone needs 3 camera views and/or doesn’t want to pay for a data plan, the M7 is the ticket 👍

@@Awkwardpirana they’re definitely pretty bad from the factory. This one even had the B&O and still sounded bad when it came in. This was custom built, so it’s not a part we could sell “mail order”. Where are you located? We can probably refer a great shop for you that could do something similar 👍

@@Yona-z1t it uses cellular data (which is why there is a subscription plan that goes along with it), so yes as long as it has cellular reception it will work 👍 *edit* one thing to note with anything involving video and cellular…there is a slight delay. Not completely “real time” but very close.

@@kadenkalstrom3841 they’re not, all of the equipment, and wiring is mounted to a mount that we fabricated out of plastic. That plastic mount was wrapped in matching carpet. That plastic piece is mounted at the top to the OEM seat latch bolt, and to the OEM seat floor mounts 👍

@@Adam-z2z depends on the route you go. Match is quality gear, so it could be the tune itself that isn’t doing it for you. Going the forza route would allow you some flexibility as far as running more power. The Match8 is 65watts a channel if I recall correctly. What is your speaker setup?

Thanks I was thinking of getting but now I think I’ll just stick with drone but not the dash cams. They want about $300 more for the dash cams

@@jacobswatches7025 don’t waste your money on this drone. Find something better and cheaper. I paid a total of $700 for the drone and installation and the very next day. It said I had exceeded my data disconnects constantly can’t get any customer support. big mistake for me. Wish I had never gotten it.

@@cristinasolis5218 exactly was happening to me … i didn’t have a choice but just to change it for Momento 7 .. because a my dealership only have the drone and momento 7 .. pretty much for the last 20 days works fine at least I have rear audio But night time worst dash cam ever .. too way dark all that records is the lights from the cars 🚗.. don’t buy from this company garbage especially when they have poor quality of customer service

@@brianhurd97 If you have never done it, I would definitely pay a professional to do it. There are a lot of things that the ol’ UA-cam certification will point you in the right direction on…tint is not one of them 😅

@@brianhurd97 I would. Getting a clean result on the install is the hardest part. If you already have it, doesn’t hurt to give it a try though 🤷‍♂️

@@brianhurd97 biggest advice I can give you is if it looks bad, pull it off right away. Don’t let it sit on there for a few days. Becomes a much messier job at that point 🤣

I had my drone installed for one day. The guy that installed it said it was there was a 30 day trial the next day it said I had our exceeded my data trying to reach Store Support but I didn’t realize they don’t even have a 800 number you got it email everything So far for me I think it was a waste of money $700 down the drain for nothing could’ve probably bought one at Amazon😢

@@carlover4239 just to give you a little more info here, the 5.11 has 5 amplified channels. The “5th” channel is a subwoofer output. If you’re doing a larger subwoofer setup, the M1D would render that 5th channel unnecessary. The recommendation at that point would be to do a Forza DSP amp that is powering the mids and highs, and use one of the “DSP” outs to go to your M1D. My recommendation would be an 8.14 to give you as much flexibility as possible. It has 8 amplified channels, so you can run your component speakers active or bridge channels for more output. The nice thing about going this route is that it does away with the passive crossovers. From an installation perspective it’s nice because you don’t have to find somewhere to put them, and it gives you far greater control.

Definitely not recommended. There is latency on any dashcam that is transmitting signal to an app. That delay would make its use as a backup camera extremely unsafe.

I would check with Technic PNP, they have pretty good coverage for late model BMW products 👍

It is an off the shelf part. It is actually for fords. If I remember correctly, the adapters are the one that is used in the rear doors of a 2015+ F150

We don’t do alpine, so I can’t compare exactly. I can tell you that from looking at specs, the AF Forza is more flexible, and makes more power. The alpine is cheaper 🤷‍♂️

I have Alpine and Audison........not even in the same category honestly. Especially since Audison just released a new software update. I can do so much. It's unreal. Lots of autotune functionality.

Hi Joey, yes it should have a power plug. The plug is on the same side as the USB.

@@MrJoeym888 just give them a wiggle they’ll come out. Funny story. Back when the BitOne was fairly new, one of our sales guys bought one for his personal vehicle. He didn’t realize that those plugs came out, so he had completely disassembled the case before someone noticed and told him 😅
