Looks great Sir.. How many coats of paint was applied, and what is the time duration between coats?
@@ousamaabdu794 thank you! I used two coats and waited a few days in between coats. We didn’t like the look of one coat and wanted another a few days later. This paint takes a long time to fully cure to a hardened durable finish. I believe around 21 days.

I appreciated your video. I wasn't sure which Rigid saw to get. You're leaning toward the stand-up. I also noticed buyers giving the stand-up a slightly better rating
@@Phil-iv9oz thanks for watching. I do lean more towards the stand up since I do a lot of tile installations. It’s versatile. If I were doing smaller tiles a lot, I would probably consider the bench top.

Wrong,, LVP DOES have a coefficient of expansion. Big problem for me right now.
Sorry for you. I don’t have that issue….and haven’t ever. lVP that is pure vinyl, doesn’t shrink or expand. You must have used lVP that isn’t 100% vinyl. There are different types of LVP
@@RELAXnRENOVATE Oh wow... Then I just happened to be lucky enough to find one that does. I was looking for something very tough for a camp trailer. I found Armstrong Diamond and it is very tough but the cracks grow and shrink with temperature. Mfrs warn if you install in a "non climate controlled environment" all bets are off. I think I will get used to it eventually. Thanks!

You’re welcome! Yes you can, it takes a little finess since the table jogs a little bit at the end. I go over that issue in the video. Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy. If you want a perfect running saw without some quirks, this one might not be a good fit for some people.

It’s underlayment for LVP. Not vinyl. Nails are ring shanks. 👍

A company called Custom Fabricating solutions sells a zero clearance insert and fence for this saw. I got my saw on prime days and it's very handy 👍

Thanks for posting. Tasks like this cause people to look for easy ways out but seeing you invent this simple jig makes me feel like even a newb can turn an ordinary tile trim job into a quiet work of art. I am planning on using this same chair rail in my kitchen project.

If you got any experience or skills, don’t get out of bed for less than $20 an hour. If you have 1000 hours under your belt no less than $30 If you have 10,000 hours no les than $50

Only charge by the hour if you have to. Try charging by the job and the skills it will take to get that job done. Dont cut yourself short.

@@jarperhones5364 no they literally cannot do that. The entire world runs off of fossil fuels, there would be a mass uprising if they tried to take fossil fuel from us. They can however, restrict charging by claiming that the electrical grid cannot handle it. California this year literally put out a warning stating that people with electric cars should not charge them

From what I heard, generally then assessment on electric trucks is the have an amazing amount of torque, but the heavier the haul the shorter the battery life, as opposed to gas or diesel

It’s a soft close kit that comes separate from the track hardware. It bolts directly to the back of the rail. It makes the doors close a little on the slow side but yeah, totally silent!
