Happy belated birthday! You got some lovely patterns and the vellum fabric is gorgeous. I'd love to know where the earrings are from. I'm also an August baby and have a few nice bits to show on my next video - when I finally get round to it! The patterns in the book are stunning - I particularly like the bear and the final one of the sunset, although the black aida scares me a bit. Looking forward to hearing what your plans are for the next few months. I'm already thinking about next year...

Hi Laura, I found you through a shout out from cross stitch bunny, so pleased I did. Enjoyed the video, I had also just recently ordered the primrose cottage patterns after a long impatient wait for them to be available in the uk or 123 stitch. I also had the In The Forest book on pre-order via Amazon since early July, so thanks to you I have also just ordered from Blackwell and also cancelled my pre-order as they were showing an October delivery date. I love Max’s style of designs and cannot wait to start one of them, my absolute favourite is the cover design, but love them all. Look forward to going back and watching your previous video’s and of course your future ones. Great to see that you are based in the UK too. I regularly attend the Essex Needle retreats and hoping to attend the Big Stitch in 2026, loved hearing and seeing everyone’s glowing reviews 🥰

I’ve seen some flosstubers have been sent the book by the designer. But you gave the best preview of the book and you bought it!! There’s some lovely projects in there. I can see some sals coming on. I’ve now cancelled my Amazon order which was showing delivery for the 2nd of October and ordered it elsewhere. Look forward to your next video and see what you’ve been stitching.

Hi thank you for doing a video about the retreat, I have never been to a retreat before as the ones I have looked at before seemed to be quite expensive with hotel prices not included, I don't know how much this one was but it looks like fun! I am in Basildon in Essex, just wondered where abouts you are situated? Love, love , love the colours for the MFE sampler, I too am not keen on mono samplers. 😍

I’m exactly the same! Always stitched on 14/16ct Aida until I started to stitch on 28ct evenweave in a Gold Dimension’s kit, now don’t enjoy Aida at all although I have one on the go in black, as I thought it would be difficult on evenweave with it being black, definitely a 28ct girl now X

Hi Laura! I enjoyed you recap of Big Stitch. Thanks for sharing. Your bright colour conversion on the Big Stitch Big Tree is going to be so fun. I think it’s great to switch up charts so the colours are more you. Re the Primrose Cottage designs - you can order the new ones direct from 123 stitch (I just have) and they charge a flat $4.99 postage to UK on each order. I’ve had good experience with them. Understand if you prefer to order from a UK seller, we just can’t always get what we want from them though.😊

I love that Garden Glass pattern. I did Daffodil Dance by Carolyn Manning a couple of months ago. I find the smaller color block sections relaxing to do. I may need to buy this pattern.

i enjoy your flosstube channel, you are a lovely sticher. Since you love black cats and birds, I would recommend Lindy Stitches - Steph is a designer with a cross stitch shop (with lots of deigners). She hosted the Midsummer Stitch a couple of weeks ago and hosts the Jingle Ball virtual event every December (so fun!). Check out the Lindy Stitches pattern "Black Cat Season" - it s a joy to stitch and perfect for the upcoming spooky season. Oh, and she also has a flosstube, and she makes everyone laugh, she;s really cute! Happy stitching.

I always change the date on a piece to reflect when I stitch it but all these things are just your personal preference so whatever feels right to you. I am really looking forward to the Big Stitch - I think it’s going to be amazing.

I was nervous to do my first drum but they really are not hard. I plan to finish my current town this week and show it fully finished on my end of the month flosstube. I do have pics on Instagram also. Have a fabulous July. 🦉🧵🪡🌞
