Why always compare barefoot endurance to Wild Horses ?? Wild Horses don't bare 250lb. of tack and rider and they don't travel all day. Shoes cause shock waves up the leg ? and you show horses on pavement. Barefoot horses running on our lush green pastures result in fall down injuries. Idle horses are mostly barefoot. Working horses are generaly shod for all terrain and extended use. Vigilance in duration of shod time should be stricktly followed. How many hours do you ride to justify it

Just want to say thanks everyone for your comments and stars. This video is very close to my heart because of both who I shared screen with and who was behind the camera. It may not be for everyone, but for those of us horse lovers, it really feels good to watch, doesn't it? I personally think this video happen to catch an essence from my heart. Glad people have enjoyed it so much.

Yes, Sugar is a peaceful soul to begin with, but it helps that she's always been greeted with peace & consistency, never volatility. Over the years it has deepened her trust in us. She knows she's loved & is always treated respectfully & with strong yet kind leadership.

This is "pair bonding" at it's best....... Only if you have acheived this kind of trust with a horse will you really understand the inherent beauty... Thanks for sharing........

Thank you for your comment. Yes, we are very proud of our Sugar. And she's named well: she IS in fact one of the sweetest spirits I've met in a horse. This movie practically made itself...thanks to her and that day relaxing in pasture together which inspired the camera to come out.
