you should not have added a hdd. even just for game storage alot of the new games wont barely run on a hdd. should of just got a 1tb or 2 tb sata ssd. other than that great build/great video budd

decent little six core cpu better than intel core 2 quad with the avx instructions and future proof design another win for AMD in the long term goals. Put a rx 570 8gb in there would match perfectly and would be akin to ps4 probably alot better if overclocked the snot out of everything(im talking to the point its maybe dangerous then it would run core i5 core i7 8th gen level of fps.) max id say for that system is warzone 3.0 im not kidding games really dont need strong cpu fortnite was about the highest load on the cpu that there will be because of input latency tuning and updates done to it. I never owned the vishera 6 cores or that era of system but i did envy those that did despite the bad reviews seeing clock speed get to 5ghz casually is amazing lol.

Try a gtx 550 ti Fermi or a gtx 750 ti video card if you have them, would be interesting to see in this setup. Also fx-6300 cpu's are really cheap, try finding one of those and put it in!

I wouldn't call it an office PC. HP Pavilions are usually designed for a home environment. It also came pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Those are some very very old ports, I suspect possibly SCSI ports possibly the 100 pin variant. There should be some markings on that card. Or at least on the ic's. As for what someone is using SCSI for in 2024 I have no idea other than the owner has some old very hardware they need to interface with

So this was just harvesting the CPU and RAM from the PC to build a new one. You could have just put a RTX 3050 6g in it and upgraded the cooler and had a sweet PC for less than $250

2:51 Looks like a SCSI Interface... but at the same time it doesn't. It could possibly be some sort of controller card for some industrial equipment, and from all the packing, (ableit it failed) this makes me think that this was supposed to be a industrial computer of some sorts meant to operate some bit of machinery... if your able to supply me with better photos of both the port and the card that could help me a lot with identifying whatever this is. Including with the motherboard (a fairly reliable and robust one...) makes me think that.

Literally slapped a 3060 Ti OC in a old office PC. CPU is a HUGE bottleneck but I'm still able to play everything at 60 fps with maxed settings on the games I mostly play
