How to Change the Air Filter(s) on a 2010 C300 W204 M272 E25/30/35 Engine
Переглядів 4,3 тис.3 роки тому
In this video I'll be showing you how to replace the air filter(s) on a pre facelift w204 c300. This guide should apply similarly for all vehicles using a variation of the m272 engine. This includes the M272 E25, E30, and E35. I do not take responsibility for any damages that may occur if the viewer chooses to follow this guide.

01/24/21 Finally got some decent snow in this lame winter.
Should I do this before or after Seafoam Spray Top Engine Cleaner treatment? Or do I have something confused lol
AWD zawsze wygra z 4Matic. 4 matic to dno.
Lexus Winner !
Very well done! Thanks for sharing, looks easy peasy.
What part does the middle rubber hose come off of??
It comes off the vacuum pump and goes into the air box that the filters are in. There is an arrow on the air box that’s shows where the hose should go. 0:45
Thank you
tires?
Lmao a Toyota Corolla calling itself a luxury
corollas dont come with that engine tho. lol. nice try tho
@@imtheonehero9305 Similar exterior parts, looks very similar to a toyota corolla lmao, especially the rear end,. They use similar parts from Toyota. Not engine, but exterior parts.
@@Justin-yw8huyou are clearly blind lol. Stop playing Forza.
@@manuelpiston Let me know when Forza has lexus cars. I don't even think kids video games consider it a sports car.
@@Justin-yw8huthe point is that you probably do even have a car and you get your knowledge from a video game of videos of people that know nothing about cars.
That lex 😍
What should I do to my C300 4Matic driving on snow like in this pic?
Could you elaborate? I’m not exactly sure what you are asking.
@@latino_supreme3083 Do I drive normally, or do I need to switch/turn on anything for more efficient driving on snow and black ice? Thank you so much.
Snow tires. Mine in deep snow in alleys is unstoppable highway speed in snow it's still a fairly light vehicle not much you can do. If you're in deep snow like an alley you want traction control off because it just limits throttle. Continental extreme contact tires are very good in deep stuff. I'm extremely impressed by how well it handles snow that's over a foot deep for as low as the car is. You got to think the bottom of this car is covered in plastic and acts like a sled and it literally goes over top deep snow. I can't believe how often I was in snow and the four-wheel-drive didn't even kick in
In real world conditions, both of these cars will do fine with winter tires. But which one do you want after the warranty expires? I'm sticking with Lexus
Lexus reliability is solid. Can’t say the same for the C class after 10 years things tend to go down hill
@Latino_Supreme I'm actually look to buy one of these I have an old c300. 2009 just started giving problems. I have almost 200 thousand miles. Barely gave a problem
My 2009 c300 had 115k without any issues. Drove it in crazy snow even with a dummy tire and it probably drives better than a is250 with winter tires. If you want an overpriced toyota corolla thats what an is250 is, with less technology than a 2002 benz/bmw.
@@Justin-yw8hu damn. Who hurt you? Did an is250 spank you? lmaoooo
@@imtheonehero9305 No, a Toyota corolla can't "spank" a german car. Just a wannabe luxury/sports car. Call me when they actually make v8 or v12 engines.
Should I get a is250 or a c300
Is250
@@Aglai76 why
@@yankeeniperalta3541 because it's a Toyota
IS250
IS350 AWD
Do a comparison with Acura shawd i Gurantee you it will out perform both of these
It will but it’s also a significantly heavier system with proper torque vectoring
Audi Quattro will Smack the Acura systems
@@alejandroochoa3541 I have a A4 quattro and Tl awd, Acura can go uphills on used allseason tires where audi struggles even with new winter blizzaks. As an honest review Acura system is way better for wet snow, uphill climb, ice
Mechanical awd's or full-time systems will always perform better than advanced computer controlled awd systems. The Lexus and Audi will blow the Acura away.
I drive a 2006 lexus is250 awd and is an awesome car to drives on snow. I like the option of snow mode. That mode Doesn't let you press hard the throttle.
does that benz have an exhuast?
No it’s stock
@@latino_supreme3083 3:24
@@MMKYT1 it’s the stock exhaust. It’s decently loud at medium to high rpm’s stock so I never bothered changing it.
Why the 2 cars im debating to buy is not just me but i think ima go with the c300
Here for the lex
what headlights are you running on the c300? got a link?

where can I find actual tech specs for the AWD of the Lexus IS? Anyone know? I can't seem to find any good, reliable info about the exact type of 4WD it uses. I presume it is RWD biased, given longitudinally mounted engine.
Its RWD Biased 30/70 front rear. It can change up to 50/50 when slip is detected but other than that it will stay 30/70 front rear. Snow mode on the IS reduces the power delivery and changes the feel of the pedal. (source-guy with the IS250 in this video)
@@latino_supreme3083 Thanks very much. I did find some official word and documentation from Lexus and journalists stating 30/70, fnt/rear with rear biased and can switch max 50% to the fnt. IDK max to the rear though.
@@RobHTech I own the IS in this vid and I’m fairly certain it is max 70 rear. I would check your owners manual bc there’s a lot in there about the system. Lexus likes to pack every little detail into them(hence why it’s absolutely massive)
@@latino_supreme3083that's only part of the info. It's a full-time awd using a planetary style center differential to achieve the 30/70 split. Very few cars have full-time awd, and they are in fact the best in snow. This includes most Audi's, Subaru's, and Lexus's.
Both car have good AWD system , I am planning to buy a IS250 this year, this video is really helpful, I am from Canada it’s good to know how good the AWD system is before the purchase
It's been an excellent car and I love it. You will not regret getting the IS whatsoever.
is that front grill stock from Mercedes? those lights look great for this type of environment. @Latino_Supreme
It's an aftermarket amg style grill. The lights on the grille are actually multi led bars that I wired up to the SAM under the hood. The headlights are also aftermarket Spec-D.
@@latino_supreme3083 i have seen the headlights. im in NC.
Nice review, I'd love so see a drag race between them.
In the snow or on dry pavement?
Dry pavement why not? 👍
@Latino_Supreme sorry for late response, dry pavement!!!!! I can't wait to see the results!!!
@@davidplaysalot8726 once the snow melts a bit I'll do some drag times and 0-60 between these two.
I own the IS. We’ll make it happen don’t worry
going to have dislike.
Why? I own the IS and if you could give us feedback to improve on that would be awesome
Great video! C-Class look so neat and cute hehe compare to E
Nice review. Love my 250 AWD in the snow
