Food waste is a massive, yet often overlooked, contributor to climate change. It's not just the food itself that’s lost, but all the resources-water, energy, labor-that go into producing it. When we throw away food, we're also wasting the carbon footprint of its entire production process. How much water does a full grown tree store ? Actually it is 10000 gallons, enough fresh water to service 125 homes. More trees in what the blob has been predicting a world full of droughts doesn't seeem logical. Not only will they reduce supply , but also impact the ecology of rivers. Every time they look at the situation one sided and whilst their defence is that trees photosynthesise and release water , deciduous trees do not through out the winter period. The climates been changing since the earth was created, so yes its real. Its the global warming and demonising of carbon dioxide which is the great scam But it keeps lots of people in unproductive, money sucking jobs. And it gives governments excuses to increase taxes and take more control of our lives.

Another huge aspect to this issue is deforestation. Not only does it release massive amounts of carbon from the soil when trees are cut down, but there are less plants to fix the and therefore trap the carbon. If all the huge unesessary lawns were replaced by food forests, global warming would be significantly slowed, hunger issues irelivant, and industrail agriculture unecesaary.

I repect your opinion and appreciate your video, and I know the research you've done indicates that there are economic opportunities that could emerge from a green transition amd thats exciting if you believe in our growth-based economic system. However, the idea that we just replace fossil carbon energy with "renewable" energy is somewhat flawed in that (1) it never replaces fossil energy, just adds to it, (2) the extractive process to rebuild our infrastructure in a green way would further harm the Environment, (3) we'd never be able to do it fast enough, (4) renewables are not actually renewable as they have useful lives and need to be replaced periodically, and (5) the economic benefits from the transition, as currently designed, would go to the already-rich. What are your opinions on degrowth?

The Earth’s oceans have 3-1/2 million sea floor volcanic vents warming the water and changing it’s chemistry that have not been systematically accounted for.
