I try to keep the assets used to a minimum (I try to keep the majority of assets that I use to ones that I created if and when I use them), but sadly, I can't remember the names of the assets I used for this (and the save file (and basically all my data) was corrupted when my PC was "destroyed" due to electricity outages). I'm truly sorry that I can't assist more with names or links to the specific assets.

Thank you for the advice. The only reason I try and use the ladders, is to get the resources being dug out from above to drop to a single level or two. Then the dropped resources are more concentrated in an area and we can use transit tubes to collect from those few areas (granted, I made a lot of errors trying to use this strategy). I will be replacing all the "ladder walkways" with tiles and airflow tiles.

I have a couple of episodes pre-recorded, so for the near future, we are covered. If you have any tips and tricks, please share. I'm also still re-learning the game again.

I do have some buildings that are prioritised by haulers. The rest was not really specifically assigned, so they can aid in the bigger building projects, such as the water wheels.

There is no immediate reason for having so many 4-way shafts, but it is mostly for future proofing. I would rather spend the extra 3 logs immediately (while log availability is not a major issue) and if I want to add in another line in the future, I already have various areas that it can be connected to, otherwise I might have to delete a piece (possibly interrupting supply) and replace it with a suitable one.

Thank you kindly, I will definitely have a look at that configuration. Gravity batteries are surely the way to go to help with the intermittent water and wind. That forms part of the plans for the not too distant future.

@@PaintedDogGaming Just an idea: if you build a dirt excavator on a mountain and let it drill all the way down to the bottom, then you could demolish the excavator and place gravity batteries along the edge of the hole for maximum energy storage.

Before this game, I didn't know a lot about them, but after watching a couple of videos, I tend to agree with you. It's scary what they can get up to.

This is frustrating. Especially if you like going around the map and "walk-and-stalk" hunt instead of skipping time to the specific drink times, trying to get one, and skipping time again to go all over again.

Hello hello, This is the Emerald Coast map. Opal Point Sanctuary is Robert (Rob) Raines' "headquarters" and it's located central on the map in the far North, next to a watering hole.

If you look at the map, it's the most Northern Outpost.

In this particular episode, not yet. We are just laying out the basic campus. I should really have added in trees and such as I was going, but we will have to add it in at a later stage (maybe even the next episode)..

Yeah that is true. That's the main reason why I tend to call the animals a lot closer than the required distance, just to make sure that it registers, but it's not always successful.

I had the same idea while attempting this mission. I remember thinking that that would be almost impossible.

I bought this copy on Steam in 2016 I believe (it was retired from Steam (for purchase) in October 2017) and it has been installed since then. What does it exactly tell you? I assume you have purchased it prior and just want to play it again? I had an issue previously where it did not load. I made a backup of the game files (found at C: \ user \ (Your user name) \ Saved Games \ Big Game Hunter 2014), then I deleted the stats and config files (only these 2). I launched the game again and it loaded. My friend had to make a backup, delete everything. Restart the game fresh and then he replaced the new files with his old backed up files one at a time (starting with progress file).

@@PaintedDogGaming yes I got it on steam but uninstalled it in 2015 I know there is not much people who play it so I wanted to get it back. I was wondering if there is any way that you can share your game files with me? Or copy and paste them in the comment section

I also looked for this game as a gift and one of the only places where I've seen a legit copy is on Amazon (sadly they don't deliver that product here).

It's so much fun and addictive. It's just a pity that it's not available on an electronic platform such as Steam anymore. I would have loved to get my father a copy as well.

Thank you kindly. It doesn't bring in a lot of revenue, but it's something. At worst it discourages throughfare due to taking longer, so the traffic might be better. That's one thing that I have learned; closer highway connections in all available areas.

Thank you for saying that. I really believe that the cims will use that as a throughfare. You will be able to get around that with smart road layout, playing around with road types and junctions, as well as policies, but it seems more of a hassle than to just let them do what they want and use it as a throughfare.

Hello hello. I bought this game about 4 years ago on Steam, but it has since been removed from the Steam store. I do believe the game is still available from a certain major online store, but you need to check if they deliver to your area.

@@lubossd_wot I don't always trust some of the sites where you can download programs for free (with certain exceptions such as GITHUB etc.). But it all depends on if you want to attempt it. My game also gave issues. I don't no what issues you are experiencing with the game, but what I did was back up the saved games folder, then I deleted it. I relaunched the game and it was successful. I then just deleted the newly created saved game, copied and pasted the old saved game and it was a-okay again. @@PaintedDogGaming thx i dont trust random websites because one time i download extreme strong virus that crash my computer. and i do the same as you i deleted the game folders and restard the game and it still dont work :(

So you have tried lainching it in windowed mode too? That together with deleting the previous saved game might help?

I had the same experience with this during my first playthrough. It is so frustrating at times!

I know the hog was tricky but the elk (i think) the wind was horrible, every angle of approach the wind kept blowing on him and when i tried to go around he always left. Ended up getting him with the compound bow at 100yds, i didn't bother with the breathing aiming thing i just put the sight rt over his spine with a speck of light in between. Don't know if you got to him yet but that 1 took me 4ever, i remember that mission being the worst 1 4 me.
