CANNON MOUNTAIN ROAD TRIP FROM TAYLOR COMMUNITY @ SUGAR HILL, WOLFEBORO,NH
Grand day trip taking the Taylor Community bus to Cannon Mountain from Sugar Hill and picking up residents from Back Bay before setting off. We took the Cannon Mountain Tram Car up to the cafe near the summit. Really nice day out where we climbed to the summit taking the 1500 foot path up to the tower. We returned on the 500 foot path down to the cafe where we had lunch, after which we got back on the bus and napped on the way home. .

THRILL BOAT RIDE IN MILLIE B on Lake Winnipesaukee Wolfeboro,NH
Переглядів 78Місяць тому
My wife and I walked down the railroad into Wolfeboro and after a wee bit shopping we thought it would be fun to take a ride on Millie B. A vintage style boat with a very powerful engine. It really was a thrill, especially when Captain Bill did a few donuts at high speed and soaked us in the back of the boat. Well worth the experience getting to see around Winnipesaukee and hearing all about th...

Video from Bad Weather Workshop inspired me to change the design on a common leather strap cutter. Did not take long and works a charm. I cut the last three strips without trying to keep the edge in line. All about the physics?

Nice day trip. Hope the lunch was good too.
Ye ha. All the better with some history, geology and in a vintage boat. The north east is a great place to be.
Subscribed.
Nice view Freddie. It will be snow again soon.
Gardens there are really coming along. I've got some mystery squash too. Been saving seed and although they cross regularly up till now have got what was expected. However, this year I think it's a cross between a zucchini and a pumpkin. Help. 🐶
I thought surely Jeff will give me an answer as to what those wee buds are. Alas you have declined to commit and let it remain a mystery. From what you can see do you think it might be pumpkin?
@@freddiemoretti8456 Close up, acorn, does it have the ribs and a little pointy on one end? Is it green on one end, zyphyr summer squash is a long bulb shape. There are some winters that you can eat young like a summer. My guess is my mystery is a summer that will get so large and unedible then wont mature or last like a winter. Whatever Brut is guarding mine. This is what puts the community in community gardens. I always like to put a trombonica in public gardens where i volunteer.
I’ll bet that one of those cranes could inflict some serious damage on the human anatomy if they decided to start pecking and flogging lol Luckily it doesn’t appear that they are aggressive towards humans though.
I like the Sandhill cranes. Flocks of them migrate over my area, spring and summer. I had a house wren that fought his reflection in my truck's outside mirror for two years. Very entertaining!

Gardens large and small, there is no better way to feed the soul.
Thank you for sharing.
Oh wow, Freddie! Winter finally came in Spring. Good ol New England.
Thanks for putting that together, Freddie. Let's hope we don't see the likes of that for seven months.
Big regret that I didn't pick up one of yours in clay with the stone wall. Nice you can take it to any material.
Just back from FL ran into some snow squalls in WV mountains. Drove through New River Gorge drive tour for first time. Some great water falls. I don't think we meet, nice to see your friend open the video.
Hi Freddie! Hands free phone! Great idea and beautiful craftsmanship. 👍
Thanks JW! Hope you are doing well... Cheers...Freddie
Judy, hope it was a good winter for the quilts or some of your other art.
Well done Freddie, we are getting your storm tonight, the wind is howling out there, at least it is all rain. All the snow has gone and I have potatoes growing in the back yard, this is the second year they have made it through the winter. take care.
Fabulous idea. Do you sell these cutters?
I moved from Florida to New Hampshire and I am no longer doing pottery. You could show this video to a woodworking instructor in a high school and they could probably make you one. Good luck. Cheers...Freddie
1/2 mile my dream.
You really did land in paradise.
This place has got to have a great town too.
No snow here this year.
If only grandmas, fathers mothers place had a bar she'd have been happy.
I'm ready to check myself in.
If only Makers Mill had a ceramic department.
WOW. 1/2 mile. My dream. Even if just to watch.
I know you did this for me Freddie, Thanks. After that last place you lived this is really great. You and Karen must be very happy. And they do allow dog too.
No, I won't forget your old back yard it was something to remember too.
Glad you enjoyed the video Jeff. Hoping to catch wildlife on film in the future. Saw deer out front the other night when I took Murphy out in the dark. Watching out for bears is the norm too. Say hi to your Mum and both of you stay well. Cheers...Freddie
🤗
I like that - nice shop, too. I'll be sending one of mine up for a Moretti tune up!
I will wait in anticipation....
Good job Freddie! Hi Jim! 😊
What a great place to be, you and Karen have landed in paradise.
Love the video Freddie, keep them coming!
Well done Freddie - looks like a fun project!
And the mountain beyond. I love travel.
Nice. Good hearing from you.
Ladies, Makers Mill has the big boy toys.
Love it! We are so fortunate to have Freddie as an active maker and instructor at Makers Mill! You've brought the leather working station to life!
I got what I'd been wishing for. A look at Freddie at work @MAKERS MILL. And a nice bit of weaving in your pocket too. So good seeing you.
Looking good Freddie!
Having fun...
My toddler and I had to square up with one of these guys this afternoon. Watch your back lol 😂
Proud Papa came to show you his young babies. Aww!
Wonderful video! Love how you reminded him he's seen his reflection before! 😄 He doesn't seen to like (your dog?) very much at the end.
I had to do a double take when I saw your reflection. I thought your eyeglasses case was a little kitten in like a little baby harness! We see what we want to see I suppose! 😅
Hello Freddie Thanks for sending this link to me. I thoroughly enjoyed your journey and your obvious talent in many fields of craft Since I can so relate, I liked your pic in fatigue uniform with those mosquito wings🫡 I subscribed and thanks again for your comments on my old video. Sorry for the delay in responding too👍
Very welcome, I will continue to enjoy the videos you have already posted. Cheers...Freddie
ALTERNATE TITLE: "Florida crane visits someone's yard"
Think the crane wants the flamingo 😂
This is what happens when you feed these.
Don Baird, they have not been fed by anyone in this household, in this case you are wrong. The male crane was protecting his family from the image he was seeing in the window which he was sure meant him harm, especially when it spread it's wings and was appearing aggressive.
Don Baird your comment just goes to show you that you know nothing about these birds. Have you not been paying attention what the homeowner was saying when he was speaking to him?
Why don't you just feed them!!!!
I don't have a collection of the foods they eat. Seeds, plant tubers, grains, berries, insects, earthworms, mice, snakes, lizards, frogs and crayfish. However they are very adept at digging hole in the back yard to feed themselves, and I wouldn't want them to become dependent on me bringing food. Cheers...Freddie
I had like 5 of them that were super friendly and would gather by back door, then my car. They love mirrors
Oh my gosh this is beautiful!!!!
Great job Freddie. I also have the strapping, also the tools the wheel came with work well.
