I'm a marine bio/animal behavior graduate researcher with a passion for music; it's what keeps me going. I'm a songwriter, metal vocalist, and the drummer for Starcruiser. I also play djembe, harmonica, and experiment with junk/alternative percussion. This channel is meant to be a chronicle of my life-long project of learning to make music (with an emphasis on drumming) and act as a place to show off my gear collection share my shaky phone videos at all the concerts I go to. Videos will (I hope) gradually improve as I improve in skill and slowly purchase better gear. Enjoy!

Mudvayne's nu metal classic, Dig, live and loud on the main stage. Mudvayne is my favorite metal band and I never thought I'd get to see them live, so this was a pretty damn exciting set.

Probably one of the best shows I've ever been to, right up at the rail. Failure is a band that has gotten me through very difficult times and is one of my favorite rock bands of all time; their drummer Kellii Scott is very influential on my playing style. Their performance was loud, gritty, intense, and emotional. This clip is from "Salt Wound", off their debut album Comfort.

Deftones is a favorite metal band of mine. Most of the song "Death Whistle." The band faked me out and I thought they were done, so I alas I missed out on recording the final breakdown, oh well! Check out the album to hear it, it's a real nasty one. One of the heaviest bands I've seen to date, my phone mic does not do David Simonich's gutturals justice.

+Truth Muller I checked it out, it's really cool. Normally I'm not much of a bat person (considering all the stories I've heard about them in the past), but this was very interesting. My favorites were the Mexican Free-tailed Bats.
