I just now realized that this video was the very last "live" performance with Michael Ivins and Jake Ingalls in the band... so... Michael's LAST live show with the Lips was on the same tiny stage as his FIRST live show with the Lips... a little over 38 years apart. ❤❤❤❤❤ Kinda gives me chills... 🥹 makes this recording even more special. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I was lucky enough to meet Wayne after their show at Norwich university UK in 2017. Like he said about David Bowie, I didn't know what to ask at first, but he recognized my wife from the audience and Bingo! we got chatting for about 10 minutes, mostly about David Bowie :-). like me he's a huge fan of Bowie, and as mentioned before Bowie was a fan of the Flaming Lips. Life is amazing

Great song...sad to see that this is one of the last performances with that lineup (and love hearing Micah Nelson on this tune). American Head is wonderful and a hidden gem in their catalog.

Why American head was not a triple platinum seller I don't know. Love this tune
