youre not supposed to use a roller for that ive tried it it looks terrible
I thought we had to go with the grain when you stain is that not the case
Is that an existing floor? Just a recoat? A new floor? Did you sand it? Looks like it's already cupping a bit
I’ve never seen a safer cut a floor that fast. And if it really is cutting that dark stin that fast I can’t imagine the dips in the wood now
No. Could be a new paper. Could have the tension high Even if he does cut too much the guy who is running the edger will definitely flatten it out. You'll almost always see guys running the edger only use it with the grain but actually running the edger you run it cross grain then feather it I see nothing wrong happening here
Amazing 😻
Not an Orbital sander thats a palm sander 😂
My Dad was in this business for many years.
Why!!! It’s same result you Kurwaa 😂😂😂
In west everything hase a machine!
Any one out there that can answer my question? I need poly for the protection and durability. I also need shellac for the uv protection. We have a medical condition requiring uv treatment. So do I poly first or use unwaxed shellac first then poly????

Refinishing floors gets me going. Soft or hard wood, ill take it all.
noup
Do you have to screen the floor before applying Loba?
@@sunnydays4327 yes, between coats
Wearing a mask? Loba Viva is a water base finish not even the slightest bit harmful 😂
@@shayandaryan is not harmful after is dry, even water based urethane have some fumes, it doesn’t smell bad but better be safe while applying.
So beautiful without all the ugly varnish or lacquer that people often over apply ….
How long do you usually let the stain sit before going through and removing access? Im assuming that's what you're doing in this?
No time, I remove excess right after.
Very nice sanding tool the one you are operating on the steps ! Would you describe it's brandname and model name ? Many thanks and congratulations !
Is a B2 edger by American Sanders. Thanks!
I did my floor yesterday, but I did mine by hand. Renting a Sander gets expensive and expensive fast. I'll be back at it again today to use a 120grit paper on my floor. Then vacuum the dust up and go from there.
$400 for a week beats paying someone $4k
What’s the name of the tool you use? Please and thank you.
Biebs.. wow😂
Sick work 😂
Bags suck on an edger, makes it pain to maneuver. Especially in closets, pantries, etc. Dust everywhere! No Bueno!!
This is the reason l love site finish hardwood floors, the professional way we apply that stain
What buffer pad is this you use to stain with?
Floors didn't look like they needed sanding
The floor is open like you assss why didn’t yu put filler
Yuck
You sanding the edger incorrectly. It’s correctly done by moving the edger up and down and not by side to side. If you do side by side then the floors will get the wavy look.
Looks like shit! Ugly and terrible work.
Omg 😱 😂
That’s a lot of tear out. Just sayin.
T-BAR IS BETTER
This is the song you picked for this??? Justin Beaber? Alot of 22 year Olds getting their floors done nowadays? Lol
Or 22 year olds doing them... likely neither 😂
🎉🎉
❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😢😊😮😅😮😅😮😅😮😮😅🎉😅🎉😅🎉😅🎉
What grit sandpaper are you using?
That scraper ain't playing
Do you guys not do a full floor wood fillto hide the gaps?
What roller is that from and did you get it from lowes?
This would pretty sick from Birds Eye view and the entire room be done this way, then speed it up to play in like 15 seconds or something like that..
Need nails closer to the butts.
you should go with the grain
Yes you are right, I think at first is confusing looks like is against the grain but is not, watch until the end. Thanks for your comment!
@@wixflooring i dont need to give you more hits to know what i saw. lol. cheers mate.
Some manufacturers say both, against grain then final coat with
There’s only one way to coat a floor and that isn’t it
There’s not only one way, how do you do it? With a t-bar?
@@wixflooring how many wood floors have you done?
@@boburwell9921 can’t count them, too many, doing this for about 13 years. How do you do it?
@@wixflooring you can only advance half a roller or wool head at a time. Cut in only an arm length at a time or the poly leaves a burn line. Cut man needs to stay squatted looking for and drops or inconsistencies. Why I’m the very best. I was taught by a wooden boat builder.
@@boburwell9921 good technique! Thanks for sharing your knowledge, you know that many people in the trade apply with a t-bar? So you learned from a boat builder? Cool, keep it up! 👍🏼
Isn’t he not supposed to go side to side and instead go up and down the board longways
He does after he takes the stain off
@@GxPdano just started at the floor company and I must say edging has been the most difficult task I’ve dealt with yet. my poor back 😭 lol
stair steps, otherwise, all good
That never works
What brand of sander?
No ear protection. No dust collection besides pointless edger bag. Clouds of dust in the air. Also, ventilator mask is basically meaningless at this point. Questionable technique. Not sure how you work in those conditions man.
😰! Кто этому рукожопу доверил укладку!?
