Concrete Window, yes, a concrete window
Переглядів 2013 роки тому
I saw a few windows cast in concrete on a recent visit to China. I wanted to try my hand at making one of my own, with the addition of tinted glass, inspired by a different window I saw in China. I recorded the entire process, on a video which shall remain unpublished, because I sort of messed it up. Even after practice runs and careful planning the window broke in what we will politely call, "...

Operation Frantic Family Film
Переглядів 6344 роки тому
Both of my parents were stationed in the USSR during Operation Frantic in WWII. I have digitized this film, handed down from my father. It shows a variety of events in and around Poltava and the American bases. Some of the films were backward on the reel, I think I have that corrected here. I have added some accordion music, by my uncle, that sort of fits the era. Sadly, Frantic was not a strat...

    I'm so happy you made this, it just makes me smile to look at. I found this trying to find some videos on how to make a Hobbit door so I can make a muuuuch smaller version for my rabbit's enclosure and didn't even think about how amazing it would be to see it in a full sized version. It's so pretty!!

    Next time you paint the foam like bricks, you need a Bob Ross wig. Nice job for a shed. Mine is going to be an Air B&B. The foam would not take the abuse of that. I am planning on cultured stone.

    If you locate the axis to center you dont have to make cut outs on your door jamb and it's plenty of room to get through. You didn't cover how you hung the door. 😕

    Does PSCPRODUCER or anyone commenting know where he found the wood rosette for the door knob?

    • @pscproducer
      @pscproducer 4 роки тому

      I think Home Depot, or maybe a home-decorating store. It's a rosette for a ceiling light or ceiling fan.

      Foam still fine... oak door pieces have shriveled a bit and curled a bit, but it still looks good. Reminder this is a shed, and not weathertight.
