You may want to check to see if the Seiko is slight magnetized since it is running a little fast. I have own the same watch for a few months, and have been very happy with it. However, I did replaced the strap with a black leather strap. Nice video.

Once I found the small screwdriver SLOT made for taking the top grip off the knob (underneath the metal bracket and facing the center of the hood, invisible to someone standing on the side of the truck) I was golden. I had a hard time getting the bottom grip off on the first old strut too but the second was a breeze because I knew how much pressure to exert. Doing small repairs makes it easier to accept paying for the big ones I can't do myself! Thank you again.
