A plastic sway bar link? Have cars gotten that cheap?

So why/how does this help at ALL? You STILL have to "take this nut off and take that nut off" and it's not in the way of removing either nut.

An intelligent mechanic knows that with the sway bar link intact, you can use it's own strength and leverage to brak the nut loose on the sway bar end, then leave the other end on the strut for removal...but have fun when it spins on you and you have to burn off the plastic to put vice grips onto the ball end to get it off. Work smarter.
