A beautifully relaxing video. Looks like a great campsite and drive in too. Thankyou for sharing :)
It was great, thanks for watching.
Honestly concerned for your safety with that set up. You didn’t clear out the pine needles around the pit, and had sticks falling out of the pit and into the dry needles that weren’t cleared, as mentioned above. Definitely a recipe for a forest fire
I understand your concern, safety is always a priority. I always assess if it’s fit to make fire. I do this for enjoyment not to burn the forest or hurt myself. And I always have enough water with me when I set up fire.
Though u were gonna do an upside down bonfire method, then u piled larger logs on the top 😅, but also like everyone else is saying, please clear the dry debris around the fire.
If I am not confident of the weather, I will not make fire just for the sake of it or to set up a forest fire. All was beautiful and under control.
How do you extinguish the embers? Soak them with water?
Definitely fire was killed fully and I soak it before going to bed. Thanks for the concern :)
Awesome 👏
Thank you! Cheers!
Love the video Ali!
Glad you loved it. Thanks for the comment mate.
Buen lugar para el campamento 👍
Thank you, it was great.
Really nice relaxing video. The scenery was beautiful too. Sorry about your burn though, I bet it hurt! I hope it’s feeling better now :)
Yes it was painful as I ignored it for a good half an hour before I checked it. But all good now. Thanks for watching the video.
@@getsethike glad it’s healed up now :)
Loved the video, thanks very much. I've got the same tent too ❤
Glad you liked it, please subscribe and may like my other videos too. And yes I love this tent. It’s spacious for one. 😊
When and where was that?
It was a couple of weeks ago.
I always love watching your videos. This one didn’t disappoint, and your chicken skewers looked so delicious! Yum!!
Thank you. Yes, the chicken was yum :) I felt like I couldn’t wait to get stuck in.
Thank you Ali. What a location. Just stunning. Some very beautiful music and your shot selection is great. The pacing is very relaxing. Not sure about those transitions towards the end.
Thank you mate. It’s all a learning process I guess. That’s a great feedback though :)
Beautiful
Thank you 🙏
Very relaxing watching your hike . Thank you for this lovely video of the beautiful blue mountains .
Thank you for the lovely comment. I’m glad you enjoyed watching it.
Bimbowrie Conservation Park, if you never want to see anyone.
I think that’s in WA, isn’t it?
@@getsethike South Australia, the old camel track from Adelaide and Melbourne to Alice Springs, Darwin. Before cars obviously, Mawson an Antarctic explorer stayed there studying geology.
Wow...dudes climbing that rock 🪨 wall. Amazing 🤩
That caught my attention from across the valley :)
@@getsethike didn't happen to be Kanangra-Boyd National Park?
@@petermarkowsky5716 Nah, def BM
Would be good if you mention the location or track. Otherwise, we have no idea where in the mountains you are at.
Or a Pommy could get lost not knowing where he was
I usually go off grid, a) for this reason I don’t always know the name of a particular site I visit, but I do I mention the name of the place when safe to do so. If you watch my other videos, I have mentioned the name of the established track or the campsite. b) I plan and calculate to go off track when safe. I can’t share this risky business with others, for their safety.
Absolutely stunning scenery my friend! Gorgeous work!
Thank you. Blue Mountains are magical.
Wow, I really loved this; great video and thankyou for sharing and taking us along. Those views were absolutely stunning. And the music was a great choice too, very relaxing :)
Thank you very much for watching.
sick video. love getting out into the blue mountains
Glad you enjoyed the video. I never get enough of BM. Thanks for watching :)
Nice
Thank you

It was all safe and under control.
Watch out for the yowie behind ya keep eyes peeled at all times nice view good stuff mate
Will do. Always. Thanks mate.
Absolutely gorgeous work my friend!
Thanks. I’m glad you liked the video :)
Holy moly! That looked super hard! Beautiful, but hard! Loved the camp spot and the prawn dinner, yum! I’ve never though to bring pancakes precooked; what a great idea. Loved the video, thanks for bringing us along :)
Thank you so much for the kind words. Yes, this hike was a challenging one but it had been a while since I had planned it. This campsite definitely scored high for me.
nice one, very flash campfire cooking. Glad I stubbled onto your channel, look forward to checking out your other videos, good luck with the channel ✌🏻
Awesome, thank you!
Beautiful ❤️
Thank you! 😊
Wow, this looks spectacular! I bet it was cold too
It was cold but pleasantly sunny.
Wow, that looked delicious! I love the firebox as well, very clever :)
Thank you 😋
Probably clear out all the pine needles on the ground first, so you don't start a fucking forest fire
Appreciate your concern about the forest. I care for it more. Before commenting though, you should have watched the video properly :)
@@getsethike i did. There were dry ass pine needles all around the fireplace.
@@seb310801This is a forest fire waiting to happen. I cant express how dangerous this setup is. He used pine needles as part of his kindling. The fire can't jump the rock six inches over to the forest floor? Clear the area back from your fire. Caution is always the way not to die or go to jail.
I literally thought to myself wtf is he doing? Sticks overflowing like a MFer 🤣 not to mention the thousand of pine needles everywhere. Definitely a how not too video
Buen campamento, me suscribo. Saludos desde España
Great to have you on board, thank you 🙏
You goin off track to find a site like that? Or using existing campgrounds? Loved the video btw, always cool to see local content on the NSW region. You’ve got a new subscriber!
I don’t usually stay at campgrounds unless I am with family or friends who are new to camping. So I go off track to find somewhere safe to be by myself so that I could film. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
yum!
wow😮
Great video, dinner looked amazing! Yummo :)
Thanks buddy, much appreciated. Great to find you on YT.
Nice camp bro❤
Thanks mate, glad you liked the video :)
xin chào bạn tôi rất thít video của bạn 🎉🎉❤
I am glad you enjoyed the video 🙏
OK. Correction: How NOT to build a campfire.
Ok, if this is incorrect. Can you please tell me how to make one correct? Or do you just say stuff is wrong?
This is not a "how to" video if you thought it was. It's just showcasing a fire I made safely and enjoyed. You don't have to agree with it if you don't want to. Thanks anyways ;)
Don’t say that if you can’t tell us your “correct” way your comment is the most useless information I read all month
What makes you say that?
Where did you go in this video?
This was at Sunny Corner forest in NSW
What a wonderful family hike. So lucky to get to experience such breathtaking places. Have a great weekend & enjoy those family moments
Thanks for the lovely comment. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
good job
Do you know where this exact spot is and what trail do you go on to get here
Beautiful video . I love the Blue Mountains !
