      We regularly upgrade our cloud marketplace listing with the latest updates to the application, but due to the listing process, it takes some time to catch up with the latest version. You have two options to update the application , one way is to wait for the update from our end and then redeploy the solution. AWS sends an email notification to our customers when the solution is updated. Second option is to update your existing solution yourself by following the upgrade steps provided by Langflow.

    I learned a lot about how to provision a Bitcoin full node on Amazon Web Services from this video. I'm curious to know more about the benefits of using AWS for hosting a Bitcoin full node. Does the scalability, ease of use, and quick spin-up and configuration make it a superior choice over other cloud platforms?.

      This VM comes with the bitcoin core V0.25.0 along with updated bitcoin-qt, bitcoin-cli and bitcoin-wallet on Ubuntu 22.04. It also provide you the latest ordinal installed which is a numbering scheme for satoshis that allows tracking and transferring individual sats. It also include Hiro Wallet Desktop App and Firefox Browser extension installed out of the box so you can quickly start with the Ordinal inscriptions. This VM provides you full bitcoin node . It has out of box setup for bitcoin which includes bitcoind & bitcoin QT GUI, ordinal, Hiro Wallet & synced ledger (till the VM publishing date ) making it easier & faster for you to fully sync the ledger.

    i'd like to understand, what does my automatic111 contact if it uses the api? a remote machine? or does it rather allow a remote machine to use my computer if i configure it? i'm asking this because, a few day ago, after a tensor generation bug on my automatic1111 (dev version), the generation of a 1024x1024 image on an sdxl model went from 3min to 15s and apart from using a remote pc more powerful than mine, i don't understand how this is possible, the "worst" thing is that i can reproduce the bug and although it's tedious, it's really worth it, but i wouldn't want to illegally intrude on a dev server or whatever.

    How can I manage resources ? For example I would let Bob use 30% of 10 GPU, but for Alice 60%?

    • @techlatest_net
      @techlatest_net 2 роки тому

      To manage resources in Jupyterhub, you can set user memory and CPU guarantees/ limits. A resource guarantee means that all users will have at least this resource available at all times, but they may be given more resources if they’re available. A resource limit sets a hard limit on the resources available. You can find more details at - zero-to-jupyterhub.readthedocs.io/en/stable/jupyterhub/customizing/user-resources.html#. This way you can manage the resources in Jupyterhub. However our Python and AI machine learning kit comes with default spawner which does not support setting up the guarantees/limits for resources. A Spawner represents an abstract interface to a process and is responsible for starting each single-user notebook server. You can read more about what is spawner and how it works at - jupyterhub.readthedocs.io/en/stable/reference/spawners.html You can create custom spawner and set CPU via "cpu_guarantee" & "cpu_limit" and memory via "mem_guarantee" and "mem_limit" directive. Please find more details at - jupyterhub.readthedocs.io/en/stable/api/spawner.html

    Thank you very much for your videos! Quite informative. I wonder how much deviation in the transaction cost, speed, and TPS has taken place since you made this video (mid 2018) and today (April 30 2021). I can personally attest that XRP transactions for me take right around 1 second (2021, XRP trading above $1.50). I'm referring to xrp-to-xrp, not any of the other more involved transaction types. I've never had to wait 3 seconds for it to go through. Likewise, fees are charged in the corresponding coin, is it not? So to say that the fee for XRP is $0.00004, or the fee for ETH is $0.46 is assuming a fixed price, right? All the transactions I've made charge me the fee in XRP. Its 0.00001 XRP, or "10 XRP drops". And as per the XRP whitepaper, these fees paid in XRP get destroyed - acting as a way to impose deflation. So I am assuming when you wrote this, XRP was trading at exactly $0.40 USD, correct? Once again, thank you!

      Hi Everyone, I am Mohammed from techlatest. We Got to know about it yesterday and immediately approached OP to get more details and responded to OP. It is very unfortunate what happened and it is also unfortunate that without any evidence, immediately it was blamed on the AMI/VM image when there can be any number of reasons including : 1. SSH key may have been compromised which allowed the hacker to perform the transaction 2. OP opened a custom port and allowed access from anywhere on the internet which could have allowed the hack We have responded to him and still looking into it if something can be done. The fact that we approached OP and I am here writing this is the very eveidence that it is not the image which caused it. Additionally, there are some more justifications: 1. The listed images go through security vulnaribilites including port scans at AWS end and it is listed after passing the test. Same is true for other cloud providers 2. The bitcoin setup was done via Github source code and anyone is welcomed to verify the same from the image Having said that, as mentioned in my email, we have put a disclaimer on the VM listing to not use it as hot wallet or for commercial purposes. The updates are already published for GCP and will be live for AWS listing after AWS's internal process.

    • @techlatestnet2348
      @techlatestnet2348 3 роки тому

      Sorry to hear that. Will it be possible for you to share your contact email to get more details? We would like to find if it is really because of our node image and if so, to fix the issue. Thanks!

    • @techlatestnet2348
      @techlatestnet2348 3 роки тому

      Just to be on the record to make it clear that the issue was not with the image, we reached out to OP and got more details about the hack and responded back. Below is our response for the reference: We did the investigation from our side and did not find any reason for the transaction. The Image has been used by other customers for a while now and this is the first time we heard of such an incident. We see two possibilities for the hack: 1. Your SSH key may have been compromised which allowed the hacker to perform the transaction 2. The marketplace image deployment does not open port 8333 , so it seems it was opened from your side post deployment which might have allowed the hack As a precautionary measure, we have submitted a request to update the Marketplace description of the image to include a note to not use the image as a hot wallet or for commercial transactions. Also, please note that AWS, GCP and Azure have strict internal process of scanning the marketplace images for any vulnerabilities before making it public, so there is no room for any malicious code in the image. We are really very sorry to hear this happening to you and we are reaching out to the community to help us in further investigation and to avoid such incidents in future.

    are the users sharing the same resources?

    • @techlatestnet2348
      @techlatestnet2348 4 роки тому

      If you are referring to Jupyter resources (notebooks etc) created via Jupyter, then each user has his/her own seperate Jupyter home directory for eg. /home/<username>/Desktop/python-machine-learning-kit. Refer second line with the value "c.Spawner.notebook_dir" in /home/anaconda/jupyterhub_config.py file for specific location and to change the same. If you are reffering to the computing resources, then it is shared across the users by the VM.

      @@techlatestnet2348 Thanks for the reply. 1. So does it mean that each user will have standalone jupyternotebook running on the shared computing resources? 2. Yes, each user will have separate Jupyter instance on the vm. These instances are spanned and managed by Jupyter Hub. You don't need to have kubernetes to manage the resources, JupyterHub takes care of it.
