anyone in 2024 here
thank you for this girl, i’m graduating high school soon and this my last week of school and ur last 2 tips really resonated with me. ly😭🎀
you're so welcome! May Allah make hijab easy for you <3
Unfortunately ,I live in a non muslim country that's why Im scared to wear hijan
I also live in a non-muslim country, and was scared to wear hijab too for that reason. May Allah make it easy for you! After getting used to it, it's kind of feels cool to stand out for wearing hijab rather than blending in <3
I wanna start wearing hijab as a teenager but I am scared to go to school and like one day just show up in hijab I would feel nervous , there are many hijab is in my school but I would feel still shy .
That shyness is normal, I experienced it as well! May Allah make it easy for you <3
Inshallah I will start wearing hijab in the upcoming school year. I'm going to go into 7th grade so im going to transition over the summer and this helps a lot!
Alhamdulilah I'm glad this video helped you, may Allah make hijab easy for you!
Thanks you so much for this upcoming school year I’m graduating in 3 months inshallah and heading off the highschool I’m gonna be a hijabi I already ordered me some hijabs so exited to start clearing my wardrobe inshallah!
That's awesome to hear inshaAllah, may Allah always increase your commitment to the hijab!
@@teenmuslimah ❤️
Im considering becoming a hijabi but the problem is once i had a hijabi phase then i took the hijab off because at that time, i didnt realize the responsibility of hijab. Now i know the responsibility and im willing to wear it but im afraid my parents (who are muslims but not the strict kinda i mean my mom covers up but she is not a hijabi) or my classmates/friends, sibilings or cousins will make fun of me Any tips?
Salam, I totally understand the fear of others making fun of you. The question you have to ask yourself is: whose opinion do you care about? The opinion of people or the opinion of Allah (swt)?
@@teenmuslimah W. Salam Jazakallah for answering. And you are right, because Allah's opinion matters more. May Allah give me hidaya and help me with starting the hijab
I’ve been wearing the hijab when I was 8 and ever since I never stopped wearing it Also for my Dutch hijabis: BUY MERRACHI HIJABS ITS WORTH THE MONEY
heyy! so ive started wearing it outside but i get really bad anxiety thinking aboit wearing it in skl, my mum is kinda forcing me to wear it and there is like no hijabis in my skl, i really need help!
Salam! First off, try to think through and remind yourself of your own motivations for wearing the hijab, so it you understand how it is benefitting your akhirah instead of thinking it's a burdensome thing your mom is making you do. Second of all, I myself know how it feels to be the only hijabi at school. That's the situation Allah has put you in for a reason outside of your knowledge. But, find comfort in the fact that experiencing more hardship in this life means experiencing more rewards in the next life. Doing something difficult for the sake of Allah is always worth it.
2:40 as a Christian full time Veiler for a few days I cannot stress how important this is 💀 I looked to goofy when wearing my first head covering and I have a video. Definitely when I get conviction again I will fix that. 🥰
This is my first day as a hijabi thank you so much
leaving a comment so, by summer insha'Allah when I start wearing the hijab I can leave a little thank u message here!!<33
I really want to start wearing hijab in Sha Allah❤️ but I’m not allowed to wear it in my high school Wich is very sad. But do you maybe have any advice on how to wear it? As an example I go by bus. Should I like wear it in the bus and take it of before I enter the school or what should I do? Could you maybe help me sister? And thank you so much for your advice it helped me so much AlhamdouliAllah!!💓 go on with your great work Mashallah🫶🏼
Salam! I'm sorry your school does not let you wear hijab. Your idea of wearing it on the bus before school is great; try and wear hijab anywhere you're allowed to! Wearing it when you can is better than not wearing it all. May Allah reward you for your efforts and make hijab easy for you!
Tysm omg, especially on that tip on the one where u don't wear a hijab at skl or work because there are only 2 hijabis in my school and theyre both teachers 😭♥︎
I want to become a hijabi after this school year meaning the summer of 2024.
Thank you this video answered most if not all my questions thank you so much
id also like to add you might not have to immediately throw out some pieces of clothes if you really like them (long as they are not too tight), layering can make a revealing piece of clothing modest very easily. i have seen many hijabis wear things like t-shirts and shorter skirts over long sleeves / long pants.
this is actually really helpful and more insightful than i expected it to be. thank you!
Speaking of neutral coloured Hijabs, Alhamdulia pink is now known as a neutral colour. The same way pink nails, are seen as a neutral colour. Please google sesrch which shade of pink, compliments your skin tone. Trust me, this will make you look and feel so elegant and cool. Ever since I started going this, I no longer feel like a potato in Hijab. But I feel like a Hijabi Barbie.
why are you making it sound so complicated?
I actually don't think you need to have this whole process to start wearing hijab. But, I made this video for girls and women who feel they are putting off wearing hijab and want some sort of structure to get started wearing hijab. I definitely did not plan out wearing hijab like this, and neither does anyone else if that's what's best for them!
It’s really not that hard to understand 😂 I get that we all take and learn things different But They are giving useful tips Imma send this to my cousin and friend they are gonna start wearing or I think they are gonna
@@Fairys_Alike10 I know it just didn't sound like other islamic videos.
@@teenmuslimah I'm happy you're so genuine, you never find that quality in people.
omg it’s been 3 months since I wore the hijab and I WATCHED THIS VIDEO BEFORE I WORE IT!! thank u so much for this vid, I remember how much it helped me and honestly any girls who are thinking of wearing hijab u should just go for it, it’s honestly not as big of a deal I thought it would be and I have mo regrets! It’s truly something beautiful and it’s a representation of your religion 🫶🏼
Girl I need ur insta (if u want to ofc) cuz I'm thinkng about telling my parents but it's soo scaryy!!! I'd love to have some advice <3
@@gabsedits696 honestly telling my parents was the most nerve racking part, I was so stressed out but as soon as I told them they were thrilled and super supportive! It felt like this weight on my shoulders was gone, but honestly if you are thinking of wearing it go for it 🫶🏼 may allah make it easy for you. Wearing the hijab has really changed me a lot but for the better, I made better friends and I got super close to my deen alhamdilah 🤍 and sure what’s your Insta?
salam, i love your videos and your voice is very soothing, masahallah!
I want to start wearing the hijab but my parents are super strict Christians and don't know I'm looking into Islam, plus I would be the only hijabi in my entire school if I started covering
May Allah guide you.
May Allah help you in your tough situation! I also know the feeling of being the only hijabi in my school, but I hope Allah makes hijab easy for you!
Im going to start wearing a hijab next month and hopefully converting into a muslim
I'm a veiling pagan and I've been trying to learn different ways I could veil, and I've been interested in trying to wear a hijab. I've been nervous about it because I didn't know how or where to start, I didn't want to insult or offend anyone who worships the Islamic God and wears the hijab. I found this very helpful on how to get started. Thank you for the tips and I hope I do this right. Blessed be and may your God bless you on this day.
same here! I am wiccan, and I have felt drawn to more formal headcovering. I am appreciative of all the advice from hijab wearing people.
Glad to see another veiling pagan here! I’m going to be getting a hijab soon hopefully. I’m nervous about trying it but I want to try it!
Asalaam wa alaykum. Can u make a video about manners. I see many hijabi school girls who are getting violent hitting each other- plz include whispers of shaitaan, jealousy, stealing, etc.
at first i was worried that this was gonna be one of those videos criticizing girls for wearing anything other than the abaya and having a sense of style in their clothing, but it actually turned out to be a really interesting take on historical oppression and orientalism! the view the west has on the hijab is highly hypocritical indeed- especially considering the fact that the quran recognizes that head coverings were prevalent before the spread of islam in surah al-nur. head coverings are universal- but so is discrimination.
I want to wear the hijab , but I’m so so so scared. Inshallah I’ll wear it. Thank you for this video❤️
Walaikumasalaam sis. Thank you for this well put information with no haram language or music. ❤
I'm (muslim) a college student going to be in my 2nd year ... It's hard here , It's a fashion college and people here dress very fashionable nd very far from modest...I'm thinking on wearing Hijab from this summer break . But I'm afraid that people will start looking me as something and also I've even worn some traditional dresses for events which partially showed my belly and even the top had very big neck on ...will people take me for a hypocrite for dressing modest and wearing Hijab from now on...what will I tell them for my sudden change and I'm afraid if I'll able to make this habit constant.
You don’t have to explain anything to those around you. Starting to dress more modest and wearing hijab is something that brings you closer to Allah (swt) and that pleases Allah (swt). And if you are doing something to please Allah (swt), why care about what pleases the people around you? Ask Allah (swt) for forgiveness about the way you used to dress, but don’t let yourself think your past clothing choices mean you’re “not good enough” to start wearing the hijab. And yes, sometimes people might look at you, but, trust me, the confidence you gain by wearing the hijab will make you too happy to care about other people’s judgments. May Allah make it easy for you ❤️
this was a comforting video thank you
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you
This was so helpful , thank you for making this video 😊
You don’t realise how much this helps ❤️
thank u this will help sooo much my teacher and cousins have inspired me alot to wear a hijab and i might start wearing it

I started 2 days ago and I have no idea what I'm doing 😭
You got this sis!! May Allah make this journey easy for you!
@@arishafaisal uhm, thank you, I needed this 🥺 it's been a little over a month now, and I'm still a little confused and it's kinda challenging and empowering at the same time and I don't regret it one bit 🥺 may Allah bless us and guide us all ❤️
@@potatohead785 Ameen, just remind yourself that you are stronger then you think you are! :D
I’ve been planning to wear the hijab for some time now, and I live in the Middle East so it isn’t hard at all regrading environment and people BUT my mom isn’t religious at all, and I’m mostly scared she won’t like the idea of it and judge me about me, also I’ve already met a lot of people without the hijab and they’ve seen me multiple times so suddenly pulling up to a family dinner where they all saw me short clothes and no hijab but now I’m covered head to toe kind of scares me because I’m sure someone would point this out somehow, anyways your video helped loads inshallah ya rab I’ll be able to wear it without feeling judged or scared.
How's it currently going for you?
How is it going?
we need to know! how is it going ?
i want to wear the hijab but unfortunately i live in FRANCE 😩 and i want to become a teacher inchaAllah but in France it’s super complicated, may Allah help me inchaAllah
same for me in Germany and law
May Allah help both of you and make it easy for you!!
I really wanne start wearing hijab at school but its forbidden at my school cause they see it as a hat, but its exactly so much more then that
be the change you want to see❤️if you live in the USA its also a violation of the first amendment to disallow people to wear hijab
im in 9th grade but im dropping out soon since i got into college early. and my dad suggested that i could start wearing the hijab full time now because i am constantly going to be around people. and i didn't really mind that suggestion cuz i have been wanting to wear it for a while now (plus its easier than doing my hair everyday too lol). but i think this is really a great opportunity for me to start wearing it full time instead of every now and then. because i really want to get use to it too. but i just have a hard time figuring out what fabrics, what styles, what colors, and what outfits to wear. and its really annoying. but Insha'Allah i am trying my best to make it easy on myself and i will perfect it by watching videos like these. thank you for this video girl. it really helped🤸♀💗.
with peace and love you sound like you want to wear hijab for people, for aesthetics, and for convenience. You should do thorough religious research on the purpose and intention about wearing hijab. Wear the hijab for Allah first and it’s probably better for someone your age to transition slowly.
today i have decided i want to wear hijab soon. but i have to work on it and change my clothes etc. In Sha Allah i will wear it soon.
I am starting wearing the hijab at the start of the school year I have worn like to shops and malls but I am soooo nervous thanks soo much for this video

Of course!! You got this <33
Hi how're you doing, and how's your hijab journey going?
im not Muslim but I love the principles behind being a hijabi, is it okay for me to wear one? I don't want to disrespect anybodys religion I just like being modest
It’s totally fine for you to wear one! As long as you’re not trying to mock Muslims by wearing one, all lot of Muslims think it’s cool to see non-Muslims wearing a hijab :D
I am also thinking about wearing hijab because of the modesty! it feels powerful for me <3
I converted to Islam this summer, and now I’m going back to school at the end of the month. It’s really nerve racking for me, but I know I want to wear my hijab to school this year. I’m scared how others will react, but I think once I get through the first day, it’ll help me a lot.
You’re definitely right. In my experience, most of my nervousness disappeared after the first day of wearing a hijab. May Allah make it easy for you ❤️
mashallah, hows it going?
