Bulk Cooking, Holiday Treats, and Christmas Traditions!
'Tis the season for festive prep! In this video, I’m tackling some holiday food prep to make life easier and more delicious in the weeks ahead. I’ve bought a 7kg ham that I’ll be cooking, slicing, and portioning out for sandwich meat-saving time and money!
With Santa on his way, the kids have requested chocolate chip cookies, so I’m baking a batch as part of our Christmas traditions. And for dessert on Christmas Day, my daughter Emilie and I are teaming up to make sticky toffee pudding-a special request she’s excited to tackle herself.
Join me for a day full of cooking, family moments, and holiday cheer. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share your favorite holiday food traditions in the comments!

Love the wreath! Definitely going to try your tea recipe. With the cold weather here, that's great to have! How long would it stay fresh? Could you refrigerate and reheat? 😊

I'm so glad to hear that you like the wreath! The tea really is a great thing to have this time of year, it should keep in the fridge for 4-5 days and you can absolutely reheat it as you need it. 🙂

Very interesting to see this tea. The gubbins go to the compost? How long does the liquor Last? Could you freeze the liquor into cubes to use another day? Love the wreathes! Specially the Scots pine!

As its all cooked, I wouldn't put the gubbins in the compost. the tea will last for 4-5 days in the fridge. Freezing it into ice cubes is a great idea!

Ahh Fraoch...... I really enjoyed seeing this today! Just a heads up.... Red cabbage purple colour isn't colourfast on Fabric. It will fade in the light also in the washing. I am so tempted to try making some sauerkraut after seeing this! Also, I must have a go at some Ork'shire Puddings. They look like such fun to make and have some in the freezer. Cheers to Emilie for helping. I am sad that it wont be cold herein a month, so that I can try your Christmas spice room perfume . I might do it anyway when it is winter here!
