Wow! This book was amazing!!! I didn’t see the ending coming! Bravo to the writer and the narrators were perfect!!!

Wow, just wow. I used to work in a domestic violence shelter. It takes an average of 5 times for a woman to leave an abusive relationship. And the time when she prepares to go, and right after leaving is the most dangerous. Please contact your local court house and ask for a victim advocate from a domestic violence organizations contact info. There are a chain of shelters all across america that can provide protection for you and your children, a place to stay, help getting a job or a place to live. Have a go bag hidden with all important documents like social security and birth certificates for you an kids. A change of clothes period. If you stay what are you teaching the kids. Its a cycle likely to continue with them. I know its dangerous and scarey. But I've seen women killed by their abusive partners. Its all a gamble. But why not?

I don't know why it bothered me so much, but how old does the author think Millenials are? Lol A 9-hour book and I was caught on a line that was said in the first 5 minutes😂😂 😂 A lot of us Millenials are almost in our mid-40s, sooooooo. Poo you lady.

As a DV survivor this was hard to listen to but it was so very good! I just finished and I’m bawling my eyes out, it’s very triggering but so very worth it cause this book was amazing!

Great story but the number and frequency of ads is excessive as compared to comparable audiobook lengths About one every 4 to 10 minutes you get an ad. Just a little over an hour in... will provide an update on ad frequency if it gets better or worse. For those interested...

This book is excellent! It gave me the chills while listening as I have lived with an abuser. But thank God, I got away! I pray for anyone in an abusive situation. You absolutely must leave.

very good book. Narrator was great. The only negative is I don't like the GD word. Never take God's name in such a manner. Otherwise, I loved the book.

What a terrible narrator. Very robotic. This might have been a good story if you actually got somebody that could read a book properly and put a bit of effort into it. 10 minutes in and I'm bored senseless by the narrator
