what type of cord are you using and what size? ty
Hi where did you get it tested i know were in different places but was it a doctor
Can you please tell me what size cording you are using ?? Is it that silky kind of cord ?
What size are beads and cord
Beads are a dangerous choking hazard and i've came across few cases already of babies died from ripping apart and choking on one of the beads. They should be forbidden to be sold and made.
🙏🙏🙏 Please don't make or use these!!! The beads are choking hazards and could kill a baby or toddler who accidentally puts one in his/her mouth. 🙏🙏🙏
Can I use the peaches and cream yarn from Walmart?
i cannot tie the end knot to save my life
My end knot is not right. If I pull it, one side will slide so the string gets longer (if that makes sense) the string with the beads, so that there is more space between beads.... what am I doing wrong?
All she does for the end knot is just a simple knot. The same knot you make when you put a knot at the end of your sewing thread. The best way I can think to make you visualize it, is take a single strand of cord, fold it in half, then using the folded half do a knot... like a pretzel. So imagine that's what she's doing, she folds the end of it towards the beads, then using the folded two strand, makes the knot and tightens it towards the beads. Hope this helps and makes sense. Sorry if not.

where you buy the tools?
Thank you !!!
This all happened way too quickly. Could of done with being slowed down and having you explain how to do the end.
What type and size of cord did you use because it did stretch a bit. I don’t think you mentioned it 😀 thanks.

Personally I don't think it is very smart to present your baby with about 15 choking hazards.
Can you please tell me the supplies you used
What type of beads do you use
Silicone beads
I can't seem to do the last knot? Can someone help please?
Thank you verry much
Hopefully you see this in time. Are their certain thickness of cords and do some beads have wider openings? I’m try to put both cords through the beads I have and they won’t go through. Even tried dismantling a paper clip to feed both through and way to hard. Any advice?
I personally suggest 1mm or even 1.5mm nylon rattail cording. I do not recommend Satin.

I can't seem to get a tight seal. I get it as tight as I can, but as soon as I knot it loosens before nut is fully tight. What am I doing wrong?

Why didn’t you do a slow version of how to tie the end off? I can’t figure it out I tried what I did in the beginning.
I thought the same thing!
the knots are completely different.

Where do people source their beads from?
Thank you!! I want to know too
How did you get your clips to become CPC Certified?

Where did you get the acutual clip from with your logo?
Hi Andru I purchased the clip from China and they lasered my logo on it. Thanks!
Very helpful tutorial, thanks

Do you make the beads and teethers yourself or do you outsource?
I don't make the beads or teethers, but I purchase them from a factory in China that I have visited and assemble myself. Thanks!
Thank you! Looking into making some for my little one!
@@ShimmeringTonyaMarie Good luck! If you need supplies, I sell them on Etsy: www.etsy.com/ca/shop/ShopTeethingBeads
Do you need to be CPC compliant to sell these?
Hi Kate, yes you should be!
@@taramorellato5518 How do you recommend going about this? After reading a lot about it the different CPSIA lab testing it leaves me more confused. I have the paperwork from each supplier with their lab tests, but am unsure which tests all need to be done on my finished product & the costs. I would love a reply/message or even a separate video! 😊
Madison Alexander, hi where do you get the paper work to get these certified?
Thank you. The hardest part was the end knot. Still dealing with it. I am using satin cord and its always slides off, will try with nylon :(
I agree, it's the trickiest part of making the clip!

Could you let me know how the knot at the end differs from the first one? I keep trying it but mine slides when I pull on it making the loop smaller and loosening the part where my beads are.

what cord do you use? is it elelastic?
Hi Chanel, it's a satin cord, about 1.5 mm thick.
I use a satin rattail cord
Where did you get the teething ring from
I make them myself!
Where do you get the clip from?
The clips I purchase from a company in China.
Can we get the name of it so we can purchase them. Ive been seeking for this at michaels and jo anns and i can not find them neither on amazon. Id like to buy the clips and teethers... For my future expecting baby. Some thing id like to do at home.
Jessica Leyva they do sell them at amazon
Awesome tutorial, thank you

@@patriciaforreywatts8438, thank you for your concern, but it’s not for a real baby. I am a doll collector, and just wanted to use them for displaying on my dolls,. Be safe 😘
Where do you buy the beads?
Have the same question
Delinda Schmidt amazon has some great ones
mine are from alixpress. not disappointing.
Hi Delinda! I purchase the beads from a factory in China that manufactures the beads themselves. I would be cautious about the ones from AliExpress, only because they are often not the manufacturer of the beads. Here is my online supply shop. www.etsy.com/ca/shop/ShopTeethingBeads I have also been to the factory that makes these beads.
Do you have an online store?
Yes! Sorry I'm only seeing this now! www.etsy.com/ca/shop/ShopTeethingBeads
What kind of cord do you use and what is the width of the cord? Thanks in advance
Sorry I'm only seeing this now!! Cord is satin and 1.5 mm in diameter!
Hi there, it's satin cord about 1.5 mm in thickness. Sorry for the late reply!!
🙏 PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE OR USE THESE PACIFIER CLIPS!!! 🙏 They are a POTENTIALLY LETHAL CHOKING HAZARD and should NEVER BE GIVEN to children or infants! The US has mandatory safety rules and inspections to prevent any clothing, toy, or craft that contains anything that might hurt a baby. There is a reason for these laws!!! They are very cute, and you are very creative, so I hope that you continue to create crafts for fun and UA-cam. Please remove this video from the Internet! I'm sure you would be devastated if any baby died as a result of choking on one of these pacifier clips.
@@patriciaforreywatts8438 she said it's safety tested, so why are you spamming her videos with this comment?
@@meganwilcox9659 look it up. Is it worth a child's life to take the chance just so you can make and gift even a beautiful, but potentially dangerous gift to a newborn's parents? Are you going to have the US Consumer Products Safety Commission inspect ALL of the pacifier holders you make before you give them away or sell them? How would you feel if the pacifier clip you made and gave to someone ACCIDENTALLY broke, and the child choked and died because they put the suddenly loose beads in their mouth? If you actually SOLD these to people, you could be held financially liable if ANY baby EVER got injured or killed through the use of your product. Have you ever been around babies at all? They put EVERYTHING in their mouths. Do some research about choking hazards and babies. Educate yourself before you condemn others for looking out for the safety of infants and babies.
