Hey Mitchem here! Ok first off love your username! Second: 100% agree with the upgrades! They will be very versatile and will want to contesting/secure objectives all the time and with 8 wounds/multiple they will be tough to get off an objective!

You don't want to pull your commander to early and have your 1 courage units panic and be unable to even get on the board turn 1. Less of an issue if you have two commanders, or some other way to control the orders. Just have a plan in case it gets dropped on you!

It is a list that contains a lot of vehicles! (I.e. swoops, buses, etc). In Randy’s case he ran double A5 Speeder buses and 3 swoop bikes with black suns. A list that just wants to get in your face and fight you early!

Awesome! I (Matt) went 3-0 with wookiees last weekend too! What was your list? We are definitely taking some wounds as Wookiee players.

@@Xand1Cast Chewy and the Chieftain both w/ recon intel, 3 ranged Wookiees with bow casters and recon, 3 melee Wookiees with shields, recon, and tenacity, and 2 bomber flutters. This last event wasn't ranked on longshanks but I'm on a 7 win streak in events with variations of this list. Like y'all were talking about, this sets up very well to split the army as needed at deployment. It's a lot of in your face melee, but a decent balance of range threat with pierce.

Ya we figured there were a few objectives you could contest in while remaining in your deployment zone

Not that this helps the retail/Recon edition, but the Spartan pre-order is supposed to come with a standard mounted board

Hopefully the spartan edition does. I did think the intro scenario side of the map was nice, it had everything you need to start on there.

The Recon box seen in the video is the basic box and has a paper fold out play sheet, the Spartan edition also has this sheet but also adds a double sided cardboard play sheet made from the same material as the buildings. This means that in theory you can have 2 games being played from a Spartan edition box as there will be enough models, terrain and mats to play with. Mantic have also announced that one of the first updates will contain new Spartan minis, they also have plastic terrain for preorder already and have mentioned a neoprene mat in production. They have also mentioned that any of their Deadzone terrain will be compatible (although may need to be painted up) and that this is just the start.

@@StuartMacGregor1I’ve got a Deadzone starter that I almost rehomed, now I’ll be building the terrain to use with Halo at least.
