    That steel beam was added a lot later than 1700's as they didn't have steel RSJ's, in the 1700's it would have been a wooden oak beam,

    Beautiful room! The thick walls seen by the entry ways or doorways always amaze me! Smaller rooms would have been easier to heat I'd imagine. But it looks much better opened up back to its original size and much better suited for your purpose. Well done guys!!

      Il est dommage d' acheter un château , d' avoir une éolienne, dite, " Bollée " qui est classée au patrimoine, je crois, et ne pas s' y intéresser plus que ça . Peut- être pensiez vous la démolir ? Allez découvrir cette famille " Bollée " inventeur dans l' automobile, les cloches, et les...éoliennes, découvrez l' histoire de votre château, sinon à quoi bon acheter un patrimoine, sans vouloir la connaitre... google, et puis , il existe les archives départementales, ou vous pourrez avoir beaucoup d' informations, l' historique, des plans.....

    • @ChateauResurrection
      @ChateauResurrection 18 днів тому

      @@didierjacob250 Je dois vous corriger. Je suis très intéressé par le patrimoine du château et j'ai entrepris de nombreuses recherches sur son histoire. Ce que je trouve extrêmement décevant, c'est que le propriétaire précédent du château, un homme d'affaires français, l'ait laissé tomber pendant 20 ans. Notre première priorité a été de protéger et de rénover le château, de le sécuriser pour les générations futures. Nous avons dû réparer des fuites de toit, des poutres structurelles pourries, enlever des arbres qui poussaient hors du mur lui-même, protéger et stabiliser un ancien four à pain et bien plus encore. Peut-être aimeriez-vous passer un peu de temps à regarder notre autre vidéo pour voir tout le travail que nous avons entrepris ici. En ce qui concerne la Bollée, elle n'est pas classée. Nous avons fait venir la société historique pour l'examiner et nous informer de son état. Il est possible de la réparer et de la remettre en état. Nous le ferons lorsque le château sera ouvert et que nous générerons des fonds pour cette tâche. La Bollée est un monument local important dont nous sommes fiers.

    The round wooden clings in the towers many times had shackles to put prisoners. Not saying yours were but same time period. They then could hang prisoners there too. There is a chateau with these parts still in place if you want me to find it.

    Did you know-your roofs, or some roofs of the period, where created to look like ship hulls turned upside down, because the structures were so strong. AND in some cases ship hulls themselves were used to create the roofs. I have never looked at roofs the same way, now understanding this concept.
